what if you were SUPER CLOSE as kids and would cry every time you had to fly home from eachother but then you start moving to seniors and making a name for yourselves and the press, your fans, your literal federations create a HEATED RIVALRY because your countries HISTORICALLY HATE EACHOTHER so it gets to a point where you're scared to even see her at a stadium but you know that because of this rivalry and your former friendship you wouldn't exist without the other and then you BOTH RETIRE and at the end one of you says "i think i'll remember her the most" and the other one says "maybe now we can finally be friends again"
