I'm a huge Transformers fan as well as a sci-fi lover. This whole franchise put me through such an awesome path, in which I actually became obsessed with drawing, animating, and even writing. Sincerely hope that my art will inspire you just as hard.

Fun Fact:

A sparkling's metal is muuuch thinner and more fragile than that of a warframe. The first time Decepticons tried to wash Optimus in one of the barracks' showers, the industrial solvent left his plating covered in painful irritation. Some of his paint was stripped away, and the scratches it left became scars that ached for a whole week afterward.

AllSpiders' Frame Headcanons:

Their spider bellies are incredibly soft and elastic, to the point where they often cuddle together, using each other's bellies as pillows. Despite that, the spider abdomens are a mix of thick armor plating and metal, making them extremely difficult to pierce.

They have fluff almost all over their frames. Elita has a thin layer of soft fur that emphasizes her elegance and agility; but ironically enough, Sentinel is by far the fluffiest of the trio, making him appear much larger than the other two. They often joke and tease him about it.

Instead of producing silk like the rest of them, Optimus produces very thin carbon nanofiber cables, which are much stronger and more durable (that's actually a thing, u can search it up).

Their optics can zoom in and out independently, making it seem like they're watching multiple things at once. They tried to get rid of this creepy habit, but eventually realized it's too difficult to unlearn and is actually quite useful in hostile environments.

Even with such advanced optics, vibrations are far more informative than sight to them. They can easily identify someone by the sound of their breathing just outside the room, for example. That's also why, when they arrive on Earth, they instantly hate rain: it overwhelms their sensors by creating thousands of overlapping vibration signals. In general, they dislike loud noises and become overloaded by them rather easily.

Their frames occasionally produce quiet mechanical clicks that sound like insect chatter. The sounds become more pronounced whenever they remain completely still & silent for some time.

While in stasis, their frame parts (servos, legs, mouths, etc.) occasionally twitch due to calibration routines being disrupted by the organic parts of their frames. Because of this, Optimus and Elita have secretly saved plenty of videos of Sentinel making funny movements and faces in his sleep.

They all have a strange, slightly disturbing fascination with collecting shiny objects, with Elita being the biggest magpie of the three, ofc.

I am OBSESSED with the idea of the Decepticon team in Detroit accidentally adopting Optimus Prime after he gets magically de-aged into the equivalent of a nine-year-old by the AllSpark.

Except here's the juicy part:

Cybertronians have literally never had sparklings.

Not in a "they forgot what kids are" way, or a "they're bad with kids." Their civilization reproduces in a completely different manner: everyone is cold-constructed in specialized, heavily protected forges. After construction, they're briskly taught a foundational understanding of the current politics and the state of the world before being swiftly thrown right into the society as fully grown adults. There has never been a Cybertronian baby, the concept simply does not exist.

And to make matters worse, Optimus is amnesiac.

Partially, at least.

He still feels faint echoes of emotions his frame instinctively associates with certain dire situations — like coming face-to-face with the great and mighty Megatron — but nothing beyond that, therefore he's constantly on edge because of being involuntarily terrified 24/7 and not understanding why these feelings appear seemingly out of nowhere in the first place.

And so they find this tiny, deeply confused creature wandering around after their latest battle over an AllSpark shard.

Blitzwing, rubbing his chin thoughtfully: "The Autobot Prime has apparently split into a smaller combat frame by the relic."

Lugnut shrugs, tilting his helm. "Perhaps a cassette of sorts."

"No, no, those have visible reels on their chassis."

"Maybe they're hidden beneath that window panel on his chestplates?"

"They can do that?"

Another shrug. "Who knows."

Child Optimus & Blitzwing

A silly duo that gets Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons into a bunch of problems with their shenanigans. But they try their best! Honestly!!

What's his relationship with Megatron in the au?

The answer is a bit complicated, especially since I'm currently writing a big story for this AU (which should start releasing soon), but at the beginning, their relationship is built on mutual resentment and emotional distance.

One of the major differences in this AU is that Cybertronians don't and have never had any sparklings. Because of that, the Decepticons, and Megatron in particular, are completely shocked when the AllSpark turns Optimus into a child. They, of course, don't understand his strange behavior that's typical for children, and Megatron is especially short-tempered and frustrated around him.

Over time, however, Megatron finds himself unconsciously seeking out the little one's presence, perhaps even becoming a little dependent on it. Optimus becomes a source of emotions Megatron hasn't experienced in ages: gentle happiness, peace, affection, and even trust. Like a father, he grows fiercely protective of Optimus and takes pride in every one of his accomplishments. After all, Optimus is so small, and both Autobots and Decepticons could hurt him so easily, but the little one is also clever and so willing to grow and learn new things each day.

At the same time, Megatron's pride and reputation prevent him from openly returning Optimus's affection. Instead, he hides behind a gruff attitude and sharp remarks, born from habit alone.

As for Optimus, he's initially terrified of and angry at the Decepticons. Due to the AllSpark's shenanigans, he has no actual memories of his past life, but his frame still carries faint emotional echoes of fear and unease associated with the Decepticons. Megatron's cold, hostile demeanor and his… sadistic tendencies certainly don't help their relationship develop in the early stages.

But with enough time and a looot of patience from both sides, Megatron gradually transforms in Optimus's optics from a terrifying, evil giant into a mentor and role model. Optimus is awestruck by Megatron's leadership abilities, confidence, and intelligence. He desperately wants Megatron's approval and constantly tries to prove his worth, even if it means pushing himself too far or getting hurt in the process. To him, that's still preferable to disappointing Megatron and being left behind, abandoned and forgotten in the unknown world.

So, in the end, they become something like "a smart, grumpy, overworked, lonely father tries to be a caretaker of a smart, overly ambitious, deeply lonely child, burdened with plenty of insecurities."

Both of them are terrified of losing the other. Megatron constantly worries that Optimus will eventually return to the Autobots, and he's already lost too many comrades throughout the Great War to easily trust that someone will stay. Optimus, meanwhile, fears that he'll never truly be enough and that Megatron might one day cast him aside.
