Hubert de Lartigue â Shadowrun
My partner @revretch developed their own blender shading system to create the effect of "cartoonish" fur and hair shading but they're also able to use it to generate a lifelike insect pseudopupil that changes with the angle EXACTLY like the real thing, like even where the shadow distorts in shape or "breaks" here at certain angles is precisely what an actual pseudopupil will do?! You can see examples on real mantises if you look carefully:
They're not using tumblr much anymore because it didn't seem to drive much traffic to their series but they update their patreon every single week with progress on their series include these kinds of original Blender processes and experiments:

Today's wasp of the day is Baeus seminulum!

Or as I like to call her, the Jellybean. And yes, this crumb of a creature is in fact a waspâ albeit a very tiny one. Oh, and a lady. The males of this genus are winged and have much more typical wasp appearance. Meanwhile, the females use their tininess to go undetected and hitch rides on spiders, waiting for them to lay their eggs so that she can lay her own within them.
(And if you want to see them in motion, I recommend checking out photo 2's source as the photographer has multiple clips of one preening!)

A tragic scene:
My turtle notices the blueberry I put out for him but in his excitement he drops it into his pond. He considers a recovery mission on his own, then turns to me for assistance instead.
Fear not- the berry was retrieved and the turtle was able to enjoy it as intended

we need to instill a new storytelling rule of thumb into people called "show don't tweet" where we encourage them to put all pertinent canon information into the actual story and its official supplemental material instead of using reddit AMAs as lore dlcs
That and "Plan out your whole damn story beforehand, if you already know you're going to make a trilogy."

Apparently it is impossible for Tumblr users to think of a not ageist way to describe their tastes, because everything must always be compared to how inferior children are -- despite the fact that it is pretty much never the choice of any child or children when media aimed at them is dumbed down etc.
Things when bad: kids and children are involved!
Things when good: this is very Adult this is specifically Adult only Adults can understand or want this
i literally just donât want to watch Kung Fu Panda

"I want to watch movies where the writers assume the audience can handle complex themes and sensitive material."
"Do you mean porn? Or are you being ageist? You're ageist if you don't like Kung Fu Panda."
I just googled this and⌠yes, itâs absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.

Sources beyond dude just trust me, for the skeptics.
Scientists may have been unknowingly inflating microplastics pollution estimates, and the surprising source could be their own lab gloves. A
