You can just say "war is bad because it hurts people" you can just leave it at that! that should be an effective statement just by itself! shut the fuck up about Essences!

It's never too late for a comeback

fantasy really did cook with dragons as an allegory for weapons of mass destruction, more specifically as a symbolic manifestation of the insatiable greed that drives men to seek to claim ownership and control over such weapons

like oh man i sure hope your dismissal and objectification of highly independent and intelligent beings as "savage beasts" and the fiercely possessive pride you take in their subjugation doesn't reflect your broader ideological values haha. can you even imagine.

And the knights who defeat said dragon are the whistleblowers in that allegory.

The bad news is that everything is temporary. The good news is that everything is temporary. Nothing you are experiencing right now will last forever. Which is why, when life is good, you should let yourself feel it fully. Be there for it. Soak it in. Because one day, this will be something you will miss. And then there are the days that feel challenging. The uncertainty, the setbacks and the struggles no else sees. In those moments, it can feel like nothing will change. Like this is how it will always be. But it won't. Just like the good times pass, so do the difficult ones. So if things are going well, don't hold back your joy. And if things are not, don't lose hope. Because whatever you are experiencing right now is just a chapter. Not the whole story.

There’s an entire freaking world full of billions and billions and billions of people, you will be loved! you have yet to meet every single person who will love you, who you will love, who will become your most favorite person in life, who will be screaming and cheering from the sidelines for you in life. There will always be someone waiting to meet you, to love you. Always.

I think the next plot twist is that things are about to get really good. I think this world is going to open up for you in unimaginable ways. I think you're walking into your best chapter yet. And finally, you're going to see where all of this has been leading. Your hard work hasn't been for nothing. How you keep showing up. How you keep picking yourself back up. How you never give up on this dream, this vision, this feeling deep within that says this is for you. How you never give up on yourself. All along, it was paying off in ways you couldn't see. And even when you couldn't find proof in the outside world that anything was working out, you listened to your heart's wisdom and continually leaned into faith and trust. But now now you're going to see it. The proof. The illumination of something more beautiful than you can even imagine. You're going to see where the universe has been guiding you. And it's going to be better than you can possibly know.
