You're Valid :)

I don't know if anyone missed me but I wanted to apologize for not really being active as of late. I'm kinda in a rough spot, and I've been rethinking what I wanted to do with this blog. I was so happy when my post about being religious and queer took off a little, but I feel like if I'm to keep posting on this account I have to really think about what I'm saying so I don't make anyone upset. I made this account as my first tumblr account because I have really bad depression and I wanted to spread some happiness to people, even if it only helped one person. I really appreciate the people who started following this blog, I hope it wasn't too disappointing while it lasted. Thank you for the support, I love you all.

Whats up fellow yees and haws, just wanted to say that aspec people? You're all valid. You deserve whatever amount of intimacy you want or don't want, and no matter what you want you're valid. I love you very much and am very happy to be a part of your community as someone who's demi aro/ace, and your community means a lot to my partner too who's aroace. You're not robots or villains, you're not weird or immature for being aspec, you're wonderful and deserve a lot better then you sometimes get. I hope you know this. I love you <3

Colored queer people! You're so valid, and it's important to remember that black queer love has existed just as long as white queer love. Seeing old pictures of colored women kissing, and colored men kissing makes me so happy because your love is so beautiful. White teens aren't the face of queerness, there is no default queer person. We're a rainbow of people and identities, and our love, and lack there of, is beautiful and valid and never something to be ashamed of. Y'all are wonderful and I support you and love you all very much <3

Disabled queer people! You're all valid members of the community and deserve more visibility and love than you get. I'll make sure I do make more individual posts for the different identities you might have so if you see this you don't feel left out or generalized. All of you are valid no matter what disabilities you may have, and you're important members of the lgbtqia+ community. I love you all and wish you the best <3

I saw a post recently that I couldn't find again about trans boys who are traditionally masculine and wlw who dress "straight" and I just wanted to say this to trans and wlw folk, and really anyone who can relate to this: you're a valid trans person whether you strongly dress and act like the gender you truly are, or if you're gnc and trans. You're a valid trans person if you have dysphoria, and if you don't have it or not that much, and you're valid if you have reassignment surgery and if you don't. As long as you're happy with yourself and your labels that's all the matters and you're valid even if you aren't able to do that for yourself. And to queer people who dress "straight" or anything then keep it up if thats what you like. You can wear whatever you want and you're still valid. Make yourself happy with what you wear and how you look, it really can help make such a difference for you. I love you and I support all your valid asses :)

Queer people who follow religions! Being religious doesn't invalidate you at all! You're wonderful and amazing and if you have to deal with queerphobia from your religion you are so strong and I support you so much. If you're out and religious, if you're not out, or if you're questioning and religious you are valid and there is nothing wrong with you even if your religion says differently. I'm not religious myself but I understand how important religion can be to some people, and that doesn't mean it can't be important to queer people either. So to all the queer Muslims, Hindus, Jewish people, Christians, and everyone from other religions big and small: your identity is not a sin, there is nothing wrong with you because of who you love or what gender you really are. You are valid and being religious does not make you any less queer or less valid than non-religious queer people. I love you and wish you the best my sweets <3
