🚨 A CRY FOR HELP 🚨
Hello everyone, this is a cry for help from queer refugees living in a refugee camp in East Africa.
We are heartbroken and struggling after the heavy rainfall we experienced yesterday. The rain was so strong that it damaged our already weak shelters and allowed water to enter inside. We spent the entire night standing and trying to protect ourselves and our few belongings because everything became soaked.
Our shelters urgently need repairs, but we have no money or support to purchase the materials needed for renovation. We feel helpless and afraid, especially as the rainy season continues.
💔 We are also completely out of food. At the moment, the children are surviving on porridge, while some of us are going without food and only having water. No family should have to live this way, and we are desperately asking for your support.
Please, hear our cries and don't skip us. Any amount you can contribute can make a meaningful difference whether it helps us repair a shelter, buy food or provide basic necessities for the children.
