it’s grace who brings it up, and rocky is immediately fascinated by the idea of opening grace up to be able to hear inside him better.

in the middle of surgery he suddenly asks grace if there’s something he can live without. grace in his pain-filled, yet kinda ecstatic haze, says he could probably live without one of his kidneys or something. he feels rocky carefully remove it from his chest, he sees rocky carefully place it on the table next to them. he doesn’t question it right now…

when grace is all patched up and rocky is certain that he’s perfectly okay and not in pain or anything, grace watches him pick up his kidney and just walk away with it.

he asks where he going with it, and rocky shuffles on his limbs nervously before avoiding the question and saying that grace can watch if he wants. excited and blissfully unaware, grace wonders if rocky is going to use it to maybe advance his learning about the human body or something.

he watches in a mixture of horror, fascination, and arousal as rocky proceeds to eat it.

“what… was that, rock?”

“rocky want feel closer to grace, not able to touch, this best solution.”

grace feels the arousal in his body start to outweigh his other two feelings drastically.

“grace taste nice,” rocky quietly adds.

grace immediately wants to drag rocky back to the operating table and have him take more organs out so rocky can keep going. surely there’s a few more he can spare, right? and grace can keep watching, right?
