Round 4 - 2026 (Costume Art / Fashion is Art) - Match 13 of 16
Sabrina Carpenter (Dior), left
"The look pays homage to Audrey Hepburnâs 1954 film Sabrinaâan homage further accentuated by the full-body wrap of rhinestone film strips. (If you zoom in, maybe you can catch a glimpse of costars Humphrey Bogart and William Holden in the film stills, too.)" (x)
vs. Odessa A'zion (Valentino), right
âI loved the idea of lily flowers, embroidery, a fabric that would reflect, and a big old scarf and a long wide cape. We had a lot of 1925-1940 cabaret wardrobes and film costumes, especially embroidered body pieces, on our moodboard. What they made back then was so elaborate and detailed. We loved and pulled from that quite a bit.â âThe theme made us think to add and play with little surprises in the jewels! If you look closely you can see tiny flowers and butterflies on the rings!" (x)(x)
Whose outfit was better?
Sabrina Carpenter
Odessa A'zion
