Charlie smirked over to Jace with slightly squinted eyes at his question. Of course she believed it was never too soon to begin drinking under the excuse of “holiday party” but she looked over to him in a questioning way anyway. “I’m just shocked you’d think my opinion is unbiased,” she told. “We could start now for all I care.

Jace’s smirk sat between both corners of his mouth. “ I knew there was a reason I hung out with you, other than the fact you’re gorgeous.” The words slid from his mouth lucidly. He shrugged slightly before moving his glance away from Charlie. The two were pretty cool with each other. Jace liked being around her because she was one of the few people who didn’t try to psychoanalyze him on why he drank so much at every opportunity.  “ Let’s be honest the party only begins when we arrive, and by we, I really mean me” 

Addison: how likely would it be for me to convince you to go skydiving?

Jace: you had me at skydiving but i'd still like to see you try

Sophia glanced up from her phone, only really so she could see who was talking to her. When she saw Jace and instant frown formed on her face. “That sounds like a major you problem.” She told with a small huff.

The bend of Jace’s lips twisted into a half-smirk, as he noticed the familiar face. Sophia and Jace did not have a civil break up to say the least, after all, she was the one that had changed. “If you weren’t so uptight, you could help me with this. Pop open some beer and call it a day.” The words rolled off of Jace’s his tongue fluidly, with his eyes wandering on the blonde.  

With New Year's Eve only a day away, Jace, of course, had to buy the good liquor before it was out. As he held three bottles of vodka in his hand, a sigh split between both brims of his mouth while noticing the female ahead. If Jace was a complete asshole, he would have turned around before she noticed, but he couldn’t do that. Hesitantly, Jace pushed his feet closer towards Brynn. Both corners of his mouth curled mischievously. “  Hey, gorgeous.” Truth be told, Jace and Brynn had a far from a good break up and he’d much rather forget it or even their relationship if he could. Jace was angry with her, but none the less, he’d never let that show. 

Joey was, admittedly, a little tipsy already. She was nearly constantly these days, with very little excuse. “I agree wholeheartedly,” she told the boy enthusiastically. 

The line of Jace’s lips stretched into a smile as he noticed the female.  A small laugh split from his lips, as he took a step forward. “ I think you're ahead of me already, which usually never happens” His eyebrows arched with remark leaving his mouth. Truth be told,  it was nice talking to people who weren't anti about parties and drinking. It got real old hearing that all the time. 

Logan smiled and nodded along in agreement. “You say it as though that isn’t an everyday occurrence when you hangout in Lake George,” she said, half-joking and with a smile. Though it wasn’t entirely true there was always a party, Logan was always sure to act like there was - enjoying each day with a party mindset. “But really, we could do a random party this Saturday, a New Year’s eve party, a beginning of 2019 party, a fuck-all-this-shit party,” he voice trailed off and into a chuckle.

At the female’s words, a laugh split from his mouth. Jace’s eyes attached to other while lingering his gaze on her for a moment. A mischievous smirk formed between the corner of his mouth. “ I can’t argue with that”  Before any further words could be exchanged, his interest was spiked at Logan’s suggestions. Truth be told, Jace partied far more than he needed to, but he really wasn't trying to hear all that crap, “ This is why I like you. You're sexy and smart. Let’s do it, I’m game for a New Years  Eve and fuck up all this shit party” Jace said with a laugh, with his eyes slightly moving away. “ We deserve this, with everything that has been going on” 

Addison let a small laugh slip from her lips at her cousin.  “I knew we we related for a reason, little one.”

A laugh followed the remark leaving Addison’s lips. Jace angled his head to the side with the right nook of his mouth curling into a marginally mischievous smirk. “ You know I love you but I’m 21. I’m not sure this whole little one can go on for much longer” Truth be told Addison was one of the only ones minus Jax and Jesse who got him or who he even let in for that matter, especially after all that went down with Brynn. 

Jace: you act like im the only who has ever used before. it's not like im hooked on that crap. not that serious

Jace: ligthen up babe

Brynn: do you even know what addiction is?

Brynn: you need help, jace

Jace: are we really doing this again

Jace: yes brynn i know what addiction is. so because i like to drink and use sometimes, all of sudden i'm addicted?

“I want to go home.”  Jax groaned, wiping his face with his hand.  “Haven’t they held us hostage enough damn times.”

“ Let’s be honest, they don't have a real reason to hold us, but are just making up crap as they go.”  With the words leaving the brim of Jace’s mouth, another laugh fell, as he leaned back in his chair. Sure they had been here for hours, but Jace already knew the media painted him as a villain,  therefore he might as well go along with it.
