erykah's a mess

I’m a two spirit Apache that is currently moving over 500 miles away from my longtime state of residence for better work opportunities and a more accepting environment after my rental company is trying to raise my rent anywhere from $400-$650 a month depending on whether or not I sign a lease. I have been out of work aside from independent contractor work via food & grocery delivery using my own vehicle. I recently was driven off a road during a snow storm and my cat and I were stuck for over 4 hours on the side of a road in the snow. On the way home from the same trip I got nails in my front tires and had to replace them. When I got home from this trip, I found my home broken into, vandalized, and robbed of much of what I had of value including my clothes, my Nintendo switch and games, and more. My personal documents were sifted through but left unharmed. I do not feel safe in my home any longer. I no longer have any familial support after things I’d rather keep private but what should be known is that I have no support system. I can no longer live in my current state financially, mentally, or emotionally.

All of this has very negatively impacted my ability to financially and physically move to my new destination for a better life. I’m asking for support during this time so I can move safely and be able to feed & sustain myself and my kitty for the next few weeks. I have until February 20, 2022 to move or face homelessness. I’m asking for help in reaching a goal of $1300. I have had a lot of help navigating this pandemic and I’m making this move so I can sustain life on my own and not have to ask for help like this any longer. I have a deposit saved up so far as well as selling almost everything I own that’s left from the robbery but I won’t be able to do this on my own. Any reblogs help as we never know who we can reach. Any reblogs with tags to blogs that circulate aid posts or have large followings are always deeply appreciated. I have 10 days to come up with my goal so my kitty and I can move safely! I’m honestly begging at this point to have some widespread traffic on this post 🙏🏼 I am currently negative $69 on top of needing to meet my goal so I can have the funds to move into my new place. Please please reblog this, I’d be deeply thankful 💛

My parents recently revealed to me that they are in a bad spot. They are super behind on bills and have around 2k in property taxes due that they absolutely do not have the money for.

That does not include utilities they are behind on, gas for transport to their doctors appointments, and various other expenses they need to stay afloat.

I’ve helped with what I can (any fund I was saving for my NYC trip went to them) but it’s definitely more than what I can handle on my own. Even the smallest amount will help them stay housed and their utilities on.

i really suggest you add terms like “radfem” “radical feminism” “terfsafe” “gender critical” etc to the tumblr filtering system, because it blocks posts based on tags from the op as well as the tags of the reblogger. and if you’re following me i’m pretty sure you don’t want to rb posts made by terfs!

i did decide i will be transcribing the pertinent quotes and then my commentary from my readings into a regular blog post, no frills on those! hopefully they can encourage ppl to read what i’m reading eventually tho... like a reading guide but from a dumb bitch online.
