I am once again incredibly predictable with the au tropes I like

I fell down the StaticApple rabbit hole and somehow arrived at "Vox makes a deal with the royal family after his breakup with Alastor in exchange for power and accidentally discovers the power of love"

also this would technically be Lucifer/Lilith/Vox, since at this point they're still in a happy marriage - Vox just gets to be included. idk what the ship name for that is, so I've been tentatively going with RoyalStatic??

the main focus of the au is Charlie and Vox though (bc again, I am predicable in the tropes and dynamics I enjoy)

it's never been confirmed, I don't think, but I read somewhere that canon!Charlie is a couple hundred years old in the show, so this definitely falls in au territory - she'd be born much later & is still a toddler when Vox is taken into the royal household

Do you understand the amount of happiness I felt when they made a Sims game that had a legitimate story line? Not only did it have a plot, it had the most unnecessarily convoluted and beautifully chaotic plot I've ever played through. It was ridiculous and catastrophically hilarious.

You're stranded in a strange town and the mechanic (and his fucking shop) disappeared with your broken down car. Now, this woman who's gone crazy decides to give you her mansion in exchange for literal pocket change and you have to interact with people to get them to do what you want.

Not only that!

The town has numerous characters that are all kinds of suspicious. A string of murders, a blonde robot, a suspicious doctor, ghosts in your house, a maid that comes with the house (which is totally not suspicious at all), and a literal zombie generating graveyard in the middle of it all!

And it just gets worse!

Warewolves and aliens and fucking cows!

Cows!

I love this game.

I want this. I need this.

Do you understand how incredibly endearing this concept is to me? This is why I'm advocating for the Alastor's One-sided Psychosexual Obsession With Vox tag because wouldn't this be such an interesting role reversal to explore?

Imagine Alastor—someone who's incredibly selfish and narcissistic (Don't come at me! You know he is!)—transfixed with Vox and becoming so possessive that he becomes a much more twisted monster than Vox is. I don't know. The yandere trope suits him, don't you think?

And! And!

Add the power difference they had? The story writes itself! It's similar to the fic I wrote in Ao3 named Obsession. We need more! I need—
