Simple edible detergent pods recipe
I made a more advanced recipe here for all yāall that want something that looks more like a tide pod here, but that recipe isā¦ intricate. So for all yāall who want just a simple detergent pod like these juicy looking packets, Iām here for you!Ā
Two components: edible plastic and juicy inside
First, the Plastic:
Ingredients:
2 packets (14g) Knox unflavored gelatin
6 tbsp water
Parchment paper
rectangular brownie pan
optional: Ā½ tbsp 7up or sprite
Instructions:
Boil the water, add gelatin mix (optional: add soda for flavor). Stir in until mix is completely melted. Let cool slightly. Cover brownie pan with parchment paper, and pour a very thin layer of gelatin mixture onto parchment. Place brownie pan into fridge and let sit overnight until hardened.
The next day, the juicy inside:
Obtain your favorite flavor of jello. Follow the instructions on the jello mix to make the jello, but donāt put it in the fridge. Let cool until room temperature.
Put it Together:
Remove edible plastic from the fridge and gently remove plastic from parchment. Cut into 5x2ā³ rectangles. Fold rectangle in half to create 2x2.5ā³ rectangles. Seal together long ends and use indirect heat to melt sides together. Leave the short end open. Pour room temperature jello into pouch and seal final end with indirect heat. Let cool in fridge a few hours, and then enjoy.

That is too adorable. You can tell the mother cat actually does trust the dog just by her body language. Typically a mother will watch her kittens closely and be very protective of them, here she completely trusts the dog to play gentle with them. This is just too damn cute.

Stealing was actually always a-ok.
I am literally in a position in which I have no transportation to food banks or soup kitchens (which are only open during my working hours), make just barely too much to qualify for food stamps, but the cost of living is so high where we live that my income, from a full time job, is insufficient to provide for food.
I work 50 hours a week, my job provides transportation to and from work, but itās GPS tracked, so I couldnāt use it to acquire food if u wanted to, and thereās a āno moonlightingā clause that prevents having a second job on threat of termination. Iām working my ass off to provide for myself and my disabled fiance, who cannot work (who has been going through the disability process for nearly two years).
This bullshit moralizing over whether people who fall through the gaps in our social safety nets and this compassionless fuckery of a proclamation ādonāt steal, even if it means you dieā is the most blatant fucking expression of privilege.
I was fucking homeless at 18, I dove in dumpsters for food, I got food poisoning for which I became hospitalized, with no fucking insurance, wracking me with huge medical debts. So much of this society screams and shouts about taking the high road, while at best paying lip service to assisting the impoverished.
