It would be a real shame if people were to wear shoes where one is a size larger than the other, and a slightly higher sole than the other, potentially with lifts in it. Also, heaven forbid they wear a knee brace on one knee, and a back brace to alter both their gait and posture to make them walk and stand in a way that can't be connected to their normal gait and posture.
