i love when drusilla just starts shaking her hands around and making noises when she's overwhelmed or upset. me too queen

we saw louis getting dragged by his jaw in 1.05 bloody and beaten, we saw louclaudia with their ankles bleeding, buried alive or burned to death. louis attempted suicide and was tormented by armand after. claudia’s diary pages detailing her rape were read aloud. we saw armand torturing louis and regina in length. these are the most graphic scenes and it’s always the black characters suffering.

What's most frustrating to me is that they have retroactively turned this fandom into a hostile space for anyone who cares about the first 2 seasons. Any thoughtful analysis of Louis and claudia's relationship going forward or the abuse they suffered at the hands of lestat, armand, will now immediately be shot down by racist fans saying "well ghost!claudia said this". I don't see myself interacting with this show at all in the future. Rest in peace to my good friends Louis and Claudia.

you know i do think the fundamental conflict between the (core) scoobies is that while they suffer under the burden of extreme responsibility for, quite literally, the world, they have little to no actual control over their lives! stuck in sunnydale high, in their abusive and or neglectful households, under the thumb of the council. they're all traumatised children who would do anything for some autonomy and the thing is. because she's The Slayer, xander and willow perceive buffy as having that power! they can't quite see past their own fantasies to notice that she's just as trapped as they are. endlessly fucked. frankly every adult in sunnydale better watch their backs.

thinking about buffy summers doing her buffyisms and being the funniest little guy on the planet and how sometimes the funniest people are carrying the heaviest of burdens and humor is their way of coping and now i'm really fucking sad because i fear she is absolutely one of those people
