“ Twenty-nine, actually. My height doesn’t define my age, kid. ” Ugh… saying it out LOUD made it so much worse. When had he gotten so old ? Annoyed expression did not lighten up, brows set in a flat line, DULL gaze lingering on the helmet of the other. His own visor piece had been set aside in favor of tending to his wound first and foremost. His identity was not so easily recognized - not at first glance. He hadn’t been a LARGE name among the Jedi. If anything, he was more known among his troops - those soldiers that he fought alongside during the WARS. Eyes rolled in response to her apparent tone, scowl forming easily as COLDER expression seemed to overtake. “ I’ve had WORSE. Trust me. ” Hiro had seen his fair share of injuries - most stemming from his own RECKLESS plans in the past.
He relied on his droid quite a lot. The programming was ever improving, but the same B4 unit was EVER at his side - they had started the war together and seemingly lost it together. Now, they merely survived together. He hadn’t brought the medical droid with him THIS time, however, which was not the wisest choice. Brown gaze lingered on his compressed arm before he directed attention to the other. “ You don’t know my DROID very well, ” he mused, a snort filtering through his words, “ He’s more relentless than the Empire. ” And despite how old he had become, he was always paranoid about angering B4. A sharp hiss flooded from between his teeth as he glared at the other’s hands moving to clean his wounded arm. “ A WARNING would’ve been nice. ”
Still, he remained as stationary as possible, brows pinched. Pain was hardly a NEW feeling to him, but that never stopped it from startling him. “ I don’t need anything more than a bandage. Just tie it on tight. Once we get back, I’ll just BURN it closed. ” Despite all the years, he still lacked patience - it was a Jedi trait he may never TRULY pick up. “ Thanks. ” Besides… no one knew what he was. “ How far out ARE we ? I’m not trying to get dragged into another one of your schemes with that CREW of yours… ”
SHE SNORTED AT HIS WORDS, “ No, height doesn’t, but attitude seems to do the trick. Must say your attitude fits that of a five year old, ” she responded back, helmet tilted upwards a small bit to take a look at him through her visored gaze, “ You always complain? ” this made a small chuckle leave her, sounding far more echoey to the modulator. Despite the talking, her hands were moving fast. It was sad enough to say that she had done this many times, “ Perhaps, but sometimes it just takes a little cut. ” Sabine noted.
ONCE THE AREA WAS clean enough, and made the guy go through enough stinging pain, she rummaged around for bandages, “ Like I said... you always complain? ” a soft sound of triumph came from her as she found what she wanted. Gloved hands moved quickly to unwrap it, and to only start wrapping it again around his wound. Tightly at first, making sure the pressure stopped the blood from flowing out, “ Maybe he would complain about the band-aid, but not by the fact of actually getting something on the wound until we get you somewhere proper. It’s the best I can do given our situation. ” she mumbled quickly.
SABINE MADE SURE TO tie it tightly like he said, and what she had in mind. She let out a soft sigh, the stress off of her shoulders, “ I mean... ” she started after she heard his idea, “ I think you should actually get it looked at to make sure nothing was actually damaged. Just a thought... a smart thought, ” visor gaze was now on the man, locking eyes, “ By the looks of it, you could benefit from getting into schemes with my crew. ”
