The meme version of Edward Cullen as a man who is obsessed with snails and moss is infinitely more interesting than the version of him in the actual twilight books.

If Edward Cullen was a man who was obsessed with the small intricacies of the forests of Washington state and enjoyed foraging and taking pictures of snails he would actually be the most unique and interesting vampire character in modern literature but instead he’s an overprotective bitch whose main personality trait is that he hates himself.

Bella would also be way more interesting if she was watching this guy swerve the car over to the side of the road to take a picture of some cool moss and chewing on poisonous herbs like gum because his vampirism makes him immune and going “oh I can’t not fuck him”

Ohhh it makes me so mad how John treated Mercymorn. How almost everyone treated Mercymorn, by the sounds of it. Mercy who did not live up to her name, unloveable, unfeeling Mercy — G1deon was literally trying to murder Harrow, he was driving her crazy, and no one suggested he was incapable of empathy. Augustine was just as uncaring most of the time, but no one commented on his callousness. Mercy was labeled defective because she failed to meet expectations of femininity, she failed to be maternal and sympathetic and quiet. Cytherea —before, well, you know — was able to fool John and the other lyctors because she made herself fit the mould, she was gentle and caring and delicate. But the real Cytherea is the one we see after Palamedes’s confrontation: cold and bitter after many centuries of pain. John was fooled by Cytherea because he believed her facade of femininity, and he was fooled by Mercy because e believed her too defective to ever fool him. Ohhh John Gaius when I get my hands on you

obsessed with kris using things the player can't see to communicate with other characters. drawing on the window in the diner. 80% as much honey on toast as usual. silly faces and nodding/shaking their head. changing the tone of what we make them say to make it clear that they mean it differently. i love that it's shown time and time again that kris ISN'T apathetic about anything. kris wants friends. kris has boundaries and wants mom to know that what she did made them feel bad. kris wants the people in their life to be happy and kris wants affection. i love kris deltarune
