I saw this picture on pinterest and I knew I needed to make an Aelita version...our very own princess disc jockey

Hiiii sorry for the very late response lol Here's the general plot I posted when I first created this AU:

The Angel's (yumi, jer, and aelita) and the Devil's (ulrich, sissi, and odd) go to earth to kadic to train to be guardian angels and devils, an angel and devil must partner up and paired to a human to guide/tempt them, "Angels and Devils cannot operate at the same time, so they decide, clashing in the Challenge Room, in order to determine who will work first. Moreover, they are subject to the V.E.T.O. (Vetoed from Exposing, Touching or Obstructing/ Overhearing)" An evil Neutral One XANA, imprisoned in the Limbo with her slave Franz, wants to take revenge of Angels and Devils who confined her. To get free, a sacrilege is necessary: because of this, she exploits the rising feelings between Aelita, an Angel, and Odd, a Devil, forcing them to kiss.

As for more details on the characters in this au:

Aelita:

She mimics Raf in this au and it's actually crazy how well it works for her lol. She comes to Kadic from Angie town, leaving her home and "parents" behind to train and become a guardian angel.

She's kind but not weak willed, she's able to fight back with the devils and is very creative on finding solutions to help keep her earthly one (Milly) safe

She has 2 main wing powers right now, Creative fly: being able to create objects matching her surroundings to help assist her and in some cases being able to create anything (but it drains her) and Agility fly: it gives her more power in terms of speed, jump, and more. Her 3rd wings that she gets later on are called Energy fly (which are basically her energy fields) and she considers it more a devil's power bc she got it while she was mad at odd

Spoilers for the plot of angel's friends: She finds out that she wasn't originally born an angel and was originally human!

Odd:

He's based on Sulfus and a little bit on Gas, he's devil coming to Kadic from sulfer city. He's chaotic, loves pranks, and doing what he wants but honestly he's still kind, sure him and aelita might argue sometimes and have different view points but they appreciate the other a lot and the arguments become more playful and competitive

Something I appreciate with angel's friends is that the devils are shown to care for their earthly one, and even if they didn't, odd would def have a soft spot for his earthly one (Milly).

His power are matching his lyoko abilities: Arrow Fly and Future Fly (but FF drains him a lot) the 3rd set of wings he gets while at Kadic is Shield Fly which he got will trying to protect Aelita (which he considers an angel's power)

XANA:

Based on the "Neutral One" Reina, XANA, who was once an angel, got imprisoned by the high and low spheres for falling in love with a human Franz Hopper and trying to force him to fall in love with her by stealing his free will but it just turned him into a shell of himself

Enraged, she wants to escape limbo in order to steal all the earthly ones' free will in order to get revenge. (in order to escape a sacrilege is required)

Franz currently has no memory of having a wife and daughter, and is trapped as a slave of XANA.

XANA has been watching Aelita from the beginning and immediately notice the chemistry rising between Aelita and Odd, and once they broken the VETO, XANA started hatching a plan to play matchmaker in order to make them kiss.

Jeremie:

He mimics Urie and a little bit of Gabe in this au, he's another angel that lived in the same town as Aelita.

His Devil rival is Sissi and their earthly one is Tamiya

Him and Aelita are best friends, and he has a crush on Aelita that's isn't reciprocated and he's okay with it however, later on bc of plot created by XANA he's feelings are amped up to an 12/10 and follows Aelita to make her away from Odd

(Sam, a childhood friend, shows up to be taken advantage by XANA for the same reason) I wanted it to be Sissi at first but she's in love with Ulrich so it will be obvious something is wrong if her feelings switch out of the blue

His powers are still to be determine lol, computer/technology based powers won't really work here (at least rn I need to think about it more)

Sissi:

She mimics both Kabale and Cabiria

Her Angel rival is Jeremie and Tamiya is her earthly one

She has a major unrequited crush on Ulrich which tends to make her not focused on her duties so Jeremie tends to win a lot of the battles

I want to say her dad is part of the low sphere or at least high up in general, the angels and devils don’t really have a principal it’s just the two main teachers (Ms. Hertz for the angels side and Jim for the devils side)

Her powers are also to be determine lol, (I'm running out of brain power rn lol) I know one for sure is going to be Baton Fly lol

Yumi & Ulrich:

Angel/Devil Partners with their earthly one being Hiroki

Ulrich is roommates with Odd and Yumi with Aelita (since Jer is not a girl)

These two stray the most from the AF characters Yumi only matching Miki by having her repeat a year making her a year older than everyone and Ulrich not matching Gas at all and instead matching Sulfus personality

Honestly they stray so much from the original AF plot that they basically could be main characters as well lol, consider them those two regular side character romance that might be better than the main character romances and you want to see more of them

They're smart and know how to play their roles and keep to themselves, and they clocked Aelita and Odd weird situation pretty early on but didn't say anything until A&O first got caught by the teachers

Yumi has her own situations that's she has been trying to deal with and Ulrich surprised her by being so understanding and basically became her rock

They have a plan after they graduate and anyone who watched the show might know what I'm talking about lol

Hahaha I'd be happy to! I honestly don't have a good reason why my brain latched onto them like it did, but here we are

I'll start with one negative and then go on to list my positives

Negative:

I hate hate hate that Nicolas makes fun of Herve's acne. It's very 2000s era bullying and probably realistic, but just unnecessary. You can totally explain it away (Nic does it because he likes Herve but doesn't want him to know) but any way you put it, it's mean. Dislike.

Positives!

They're BFFs - I'm so curious how they ended up being friends because on paper, you would think they wouldn't work. There's plenty of jokes about Herve liking Sissi but Nicolas doesn't seem as into her? Why else would he hang around if not because he likes them at least as friends. They're also always together! Even when Sissi's not there, they're still vibing together. It's adorable.

They complement each other well - They are a beautiful, classic combo of brains and brawn! Herve likes nerd stuff and Nic likes jock stuff. They could teach each other a lot, but they're also both interested in similar things like video games and hating the LWs.

They could really boost the other's self-esteem, while also helping the other grow - They both seem to have low self-esteem (Herve moreso, but who knows what goes on in Nic's head.) If they could be honest about what they like about each other, I think it would really boost their self-image. They also challenge each other and aren't afraid to argue, so I think they would be able to have hard conversations if one of them goes too far.

They're actually surprisingly well-developed characters - I love when we get to see the depth of each of them! The writers didn't have to do that but they did because they love us. We know that Herve likes robots and plants, and he's claustrophobic and scared of ghosts. Nicolas likes music (drums) and fishing, and he's also good at driving! (Also scared of ghosts).
