Returning from my slumber to say that I enjoy that the explanation for Robo-Ky/Venom matchups with the new Robo-Ky DLC is that the “original” Robo-Ky from Venom’s moveset got duplicated by Faust 3 times by a funny flower. It would’ve been much easier for the lore to just be “yeah we brought back Robo-Ky MKII” but no. never change Mr Daisuke Ishiwatri

It’s isopropyl alcohol mixed with the “blood angel red” contrast paint that’s coming off. Please don’t think I’d post my fluids on here. Not for free, anyway.

Ok so. If you noticed I haven’t been posting the past few days, it’s because I fell down the Warhammer 40k rabbit hole (deer hole?). I’ve been a casual enthusiast of the lore for a while, but a few days ago I finally made my first tabletop purchases as my local comic store is doing a sale to celebrate 11th edition dropping soon. I decided I’m gonna build a Tyranid army!! Funny buggos yayyy
I started the actual painting process yesterday, and plan to paint a mini a day. I also chose to use a custom color scheme, based on Changelings from My Little Pony G4. I’ve dubbed my army “Queen Chrysalis’ Tyranids”
I still have a lottt of unpainted/unprimed bugs. The idea that this is only like 115 of the 2000 points you need to build an army is incredibly exciting… I cannot WAIT to have a huge swarm of buggos.
While browsing Tyranid stuff on various platforms today, I saw someone say that if the world worked on Toy Story logic, everything else they collected would be absolutely COOKED. I’d have to agree.

Okay, so. I made a post previously about how I really wanted model kits of Ferronises from Xenoblade 3. But like… I’m stupid?? How did I not think of the coolest contenders for Xenoblade model kits??
FACED MECHON?? DUH?? these would absolutely FUUUUCK as Bandai kits. The red lights on them could probably be clear parts backed with foil stickers, and something like Yaldabaoth could be painted gold like the MG Hyaku Shiki 2.0. Plus Xord could probably release as a “2 in 1” kit where there’s special parts to make Xord but also pieces just to make a regular mass-produced face.
SPOILERS FOR XENOBLADE 1 BELOW!!
The thing I’d want the most with these are scale pilots/cockpits inside of the model. I would loveee to paint up a tiny Mumkhar, Fiora, Gadolt, Egil, etc! Maybe Xord’s kit would come with tiny pieces for his brain and heart since mass-produced faces apparently don’t have full pilots inside but rather just the essential Homs organs.
Speaking of Fiora specifically. Mecha Fiora would also be like my dream girlpla to get officially. She is peak trans robogirl gender envy
oh!! and Bandai!! if you’re reading, don’t forget to include some crazy Mechon lore bomb in the manuals of these like Kotobukia did in the Siren kit!
