Hey kiddos Liver here, 

Although makeup is seen to be a “traditionally feminine” thing (which is bullshit) it can be used to make your face more masculine! It can also boost your confidence by hiding things like spots (which can increase on T), under eye circles ect.. Of course, there's not a thing in the world wrong with those things but some people may choose to cover them. 

So let’s start with the very very basics, what kind of stuff will you need? I’ve put in bold the stuff that is vital, everything else is pretty optional. I get most of my makeup from Pennys because its hella cheap, you can also check out Tesco and boots because they do some pretty awesome deals! Speaking of deals, go to dealz! They have really really cheap makeup (as do simular discount stores but dealz tends to have more banded stuff). 

-Face cleaning stuff

If you wanna put on makeup you need a clean face. I cannot press this enough, clean ya god damn face boi. Grab yourself an exfoliator (try to avoid microbeads) a cleanser and a cleanser that removes makeup like cleansing water. This is a really good video about all this stuff but it is UK based. 

-Moisturiser 

You gotta make sure your face is all soft and smooth to put the makeup on.

-Primer 

 Primer is a base for your makeup, it will help it to look smoother, cleaner and stay longer. I use Catrice Prime and Fine. There are loads of different ones but I would 100% recommend one that is mattifying! 

-Foundation 

Foundation evens out your skin tone and acts as a base for the rest of your makeup. I use a Catrice one but the name has rubbed off. Make sure you get one that matches your skin tone. Again there are many types of foundation but I recommend one that again is mattifying. 

-Setting powder 

Setting powder is gonna keep everything in place as well as help you look way more matt. I actually use baby powder for this because it matches my skin better. 

-Concealer 

As the name suggests this hides stuff like spots blemishes and dark circles. I use the Essence concealer stick. 

-Contour kit 

This is one of the most important parts of masculine make up. This is what you use to create false shadows on your face in order to look like your face is square and dudey. I use this one.  You could also totally use a dark brown eyeshadow. 

-Something to fill in your eyebrows 

AMAB people tend to have unshaped thick brows so filling yours in will achieve this look. I’d also recommend not plucking them. I use black eyeshadow but you can also get eyebrow kits and pencils. Whatever you find suits you. The rule when picking color is to go one shade darker then your head hair. If you have dyed hair like myself you can do whatever you want, I go with black for contrast but you could do brown or blonde or match the color of your hair.

-Stuff you apply this all with! 

I use this set of brushes but you can get brushes both in kits with the stuff you’re getting (ie. eyeshadow, cuntour kits, eyebrow kits, so on). Pennys do sinular and sets of brushes for cheap and they actually decent! 

 Okay now you know what you need but what the hell do you do?! Stuff in italics is optional! 

1. Wash that face boi! 

2.Moisturise, give it a few minutes to absorb into your skin. 

3. Put on your primer! I like to use a makeup brush for this, pretty sure its a blush one. Wait a few minutes for it to absorb. 

4. Put on your foundation, I like to go downwards so I’m brushing all the lil hairs on my face down. Make sure it’s all blended in. 

5. Conceal wherever you wanna. 

6. Grab your contour kit and an angled sculpting brush. It’s pretty much impossible to explain this with words so here is the tourial that thought me. 

7. Fill in your eyebrows as desired. 

8. Put setting spray all over your face and neck. 

And BAM you’re done and looking fine af my man!

But here’s the thing. He said some things in that video that are going to piss off a lot of gatekeepers: that he’s most comfortable with queer, that the word he has trauma around is gay, that acephobia is bad, that we should respect microlabels (”mogai labels”). What this means is that there are probably a lot of very angry exclusionists going through all his past activity as we speak to dig up something they can use to discredit him. If he’s had a significant internet presence since 2009, they will find something.

The reason I’m saying this is that you may very well see some extreme and sensationalist accusations about him suddenly coming to light. Before you believe or spread them, you have to find out what the evidence is, what the context was, whether the facts actually support the specific accusations that are being leveled, and whether the op has any motive to fabricate it, exaggerate about what happened, or exclude important details. 

We’ve seen this happen to other queer youtubers after they said things that exclusionists didn’t like, and I don’t want to watch it happen again. Be careful.

okay i’ve been getting quite a few asks about this so i thought i’d just make a post about it. i’ll split it into three categories based on experience - easy, medium, and hard. let me know if y’all are interested in a bodybuilding split workout then i’ll post one of those too.

easy - if you’re new to working out or strength training

knee pushups - 5 sets of 10 reps

sit ups - 3 sets of 10 reps

mountain climbers - 2 sets of 20 reps

lunges - 3 sets of 10 reps (5 per leg)

alternating arm/leg raises - 4 sets of 10 reps

jumping jacks - 4 sets of 10 reps

medium - a slightly more challenging if you feel like the above one is too easy

pushups - 5 sets of 10 reps

sit ups - 3 sets of 15 reps

squats - 3 sets of 10 reps (make sure to go down below parallel)

pike push-ups - 3 sets of 10 reps

plank - 2 sets of 60 second hold

doorway rows - 4 sets of 10 reps (link coz its a little unknown)
