I think it's kinda interesting because astro has a mental hierarchy.. It works like player —> astro and mr sys —> games own hierarchy

so astro thinks that reciprocating linebecks feelings are wrong...because he thinks mr sys would scold him for it sooo its like

linebeck leans in and kisses astro and in the middle of it astro shoves him off. Linebeck apologizes because he thinks he misread astros body language

astro 💭: "Ninten would– kill me... Oh right." (sys is frozen indefinitely)

"He's the one who'd yell at me for this. But he's not here, and my feelings are real for the Captain. And I'm certain he loves me back."

Then he kisses linebeck while he's still apologizing
