Break Your Mother/Fatherโs Back Hex Jar
(This is a hex meant to do some serious dark work on a target. If you are unsure or prone to second thought, this hex is not for you. If you might change your mind about doing harm to this person, this is not your hex. If you subscribe to the rule of three, steer the hell clear; one of these is enough to change the course of your life, three might end it. This hex will produce results and they will be severe. Use deliberately or not at all.)
This hex is exactly as the title suggests, a malicious magical working that will inflict severe suffering in the life of the target, most often presenting in some sort of accident.
The best manifestation of this hex will come with the same kind of energy it was created with, which in my story was a lot of internalized pain and mental suffering at the hands of a family member. I took every bit of anger and frustration I had and put it into this jar, and babyโฆ to say it paid off would be the biggest understatement Iโve ever made. The target, within 5 days, had one of the worst falls in their life and is out of work to this day. If you have resentment and pain and you need to get someone who is harming your wellbeing out of your way, or to even just send the loudest and clearest message theyโve ever gotten, then proceed.
(If youโre coming here wanting to know why each ingredient is in here, I canโt really offer that. A lot of it was what was appropriate for me at the time to how I felt, which is why my ingredient list below is specific to what I used and will use again, but feel free to tweak and add/delete if the item has a connotation that does/doesnโt align with your intention!)
You will need:
Jar With Lid, I utilized a mason jar for this because I had a lot of bad feelings I needed to seal tightly into this jar.
Equal parts vinegar/lemon juice/alcohol of any kind, but a favorite of the targets would be most powerful.
Black pepper
Red pepper flakes
Salt
Sulfur
Black salt
Dead Sea salt
Thumb tack
Licorice root
Mugwort
Wormwood
Ash
Scrapings from a burnt cast iron pan
Bay leaf
Some article of the person (I used a used plastic spoon from their lunch box that I snapped into a bunch of little sharp pieces)
Sewing pins
Petition paper
Pair of targets used undergarments
Thread
Red tissue paper
White and black spell candle, 1 ea.
Black wax
Sharp needle
Getting started:
Start by dropping ingredients #2-#16 (set aside bay leaf) into your jar, one by one, pulverizing each between your fingers as you drop them in; visualizing the anger and resentment you have for your target manifesting from the raw energies inside you into their life, ensnaring them.
Write your greatest wish for the outcome on your bay leaf with black ink, I wrote pain on mine.
Taking the undergarments, I cut the shape of a small dolly twice out of it. Then I took a small shard of the plastic spoon mentioned above and bound it with black thread to create a little doll of him, stuffed headfirst into the foul jar.
On your petition paper write your targetโs name 9 times on each side and fold 3 times, turning counter clockwise on each fold, always folding away from yourself. Place in jar.
Seal the jar with the lid, and then use your black wax and create a little mound of wax you can melt to anchor your candles.
Wrap jar in black ribbon and twine
Wrap two candles together with red tissue paper and white thread. Piercing both with 2 sewing pins. (Pictured below)
Using the sharp needle, pierce your skin and use your blood to draw a seal the lid around the wax (optional, I just felt this strongly that I felt a co-sign of my own essence was necessary)
At this point, observe the jar. The movement inside is due to the sulphur and vinegar mixing, they are in constant motion like the turmoil the target will face.
Mount candles on the jar.
Prepare ceremonial plate, I made a circle of mugwort, wormwood and Dead Sea salt to contain the bad energies to the spell circle.
Prepare your casting area in a location the target frequents, (I used a garage, itโs not about the locationโs witchy aesthetic โข) prepare this however you feel you need to, every witch is different. I just used my pentacle and selenite/amethyst to help regulate the energies around the casters working. (Working alone is totally fine too!)
I black saged the area and all the thresholds so that the only dark energies in the space are those of my own manifestation.
I prepared an incantation, based on a couple of references I to similar situations, read as follows once you light the candles.
โDarkness, I charge you with this sign.
Mother in the night are mine.
Spirits I task you with this curse,
Help the man from home to hearseโ
I chanted this three times, and spent the rest of the burning time focusing on my intentions.
After the flame burned down and out, I took the jar and hid it in the ceiling supports two floors directly below his bed in the basement.
(Notice the ash heart ๐ฎ๐ค)
Cast away all the ingredients on the spell plate to the wind.
Shake the jar and talk angrily to it twice daily until results become clear.
Thanks for reading, feel free to DM questions. ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ
Feel the need to update this as itโs been entered into my official grimiore.
The Foul Jar
After noticing I wrote it into this post, when I ceased that curse and undid the jar it was the worst fucking smell Iโve ever encountered.
For anyone wondering, the original recipient of this curse still bears traces of its manifestation onto him and most likely will for the rest of his time on earth.
10/10 would use again.

1- Hecate
1- Hecate
Greek Titan of Witches, Witchcraft, Sorcery, and Crossroads.
When I first began this project, I knew that I wanted to end with Hecate. She is simultaneously the final and the first, our alpha and omega of Witchcraft. She dominates popular witch lore, but you would never know it as she resides in the shadows, side plots, and brief mentions. Only when you seek her out does she reveal herself to you, lighting your path while casting shadows and ghosts. Many, if not all, modern Witches, Pagans, and Wiccans see Hecate as a Goddess of Witches, amongst other appropriate attributes, and continue her worship and reverence now several thousand years ongoing.
As is the case with most of Greek Mythology, Hecate has multiple origin myths and genealogies. This is most likely the result of her originating outside of the Greeks, and being adapted and merged with the existing pantheon. Most traditions have Hecate as the daughter of the Titans Perses, titan of destruction, and Asteria, titan of falling stars and nocturnal prophecy. Hecate was their only child, and was able to retain her powers post Zeusโ coup as she helped him fight the Giants. As child of Asteria, her grandmother was the Titan of the Moon, Phoebe, and her cousin was Olympian lunar all-star Artemis.
There are various stories in which Hecate plays a part. Her most notable and appropriate for this time of year, however, is her integral role in assisting Demeterโs search for her beloved daughter, Persephone. Upon Persephoneโs decent into Hades, Hecate, through the light of her torches, helped Demeter discover her daughter in the underworld. As such, Hecate has become a chthonic Goddess, and Persephoneโs yearly attendant and psychopomp to the underworld. Her position as gatekeeper and guide to Hades solidifies many of her numerous attributes.
Hecate is associated with ghosts, necromancy, and magic. She is identified with crossroads, torches, and dark hounds. She was a common household deity for the Athenianโher shrines placed in doorways and city gates to both protect from restless spirits and bestow blessings and safe passage. Her worship and cult was as extensive as her various attributes, with temples and shrines scattered across the Mediterranean. As a key figure in the Persephone saga, Hecate was integral in the ancient Eleusinian Mysteries, impacting secret societies and occult rituals to this day.
Out of all her characteristics, her association with the crossroads is perhaps the most pertinent to my series. Most often, we think of crossroads as the intersection of two roads, yielding four directions. This was not always the case, however, as it was more common to have a proverbial โfork in the roadโ, yielding three directions. This is the kind of crossroads in which Hecate resides. Her statues depict her in triplicity, forearms outstretched, holding torches, keys, serpents, daggers, etc. One face in each direction, Hecate is the arbiter of passages, and in this way is the consort of the God Hermes.
Hecate is one of the original Triple Goddesses of Witchcraft, if not the primordial one. Her triplicity has defined much of Modern Pagan theology, with her stance representing the three phases of the moon, Waxing, Full, and Waning (Maiden, Mother, Crone respectively). Her mythological genealogy as the granddaughter of Phoebe and cousin to Artemis has yielded Hecate as a Goddess of the Moon in her own right, most often known as the unseen phase of the moon, the New Moon (however she is just as often associated with all moon phases). In Greek/Roman Mythology, Hecate joins many lunar goddesses in addition to Phoebe and Artemis, including Selene and Diana. The five were often conflated, confused, and worshiped both in tandem and in conflict. This ever shifting, impossible to pin down, lunar association echos her transient nature of existing in the shadows.
Hecate is both mysterious and severe. Her face is hidden behind her torches, or on the dark side of the moon, however her presence is a constant. She is life, death, and rebirth. She is both light and dark magic. She was beloved in her association with rites of passage like childbirth, and feared in her role as Queen of Shades, present at the final rite of passage, death. Her nature has permeated my entire series in such a profound and indescribable way, I can only show you:
#93: Lilithโ often worshiped by modern Pagans in tandem with Hecate #92: Circe: Daughter of Hecate #89, #54, #39: Bewitched: A common expression โFor Hecateโs Sake!โ Occurs throughout the show. #79: Aradia: Daughter of Lucifer and Diana. Often seen as the daughter of an amalgamated Diana-Hecate. #70: Medea: Priestess of Hecate #67: Charmed: The Halliwell Sisters: Appears in the episode โThe Wedding from Hellโ #56: Ceridwen: Often worshiped in tandem with Hecate as Dark Mothers by modern Pagans. . #52, #27: Practical Magic: The necromancy ritual the Owenโs Sisters perform, albeit pronounced incorrectly. โBlack as night, erase death from our sight. White as light, Mighty Hecate make it right.โ #10: Willow Rosenberg: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Mentioned in several episodes and referred to as โQueen and Protectress of Witches.โ #7: American Horror Story: Coven: Supreme Fiona Goode invokes Hecate โCome to me Hecate, Mother of Angels, Cosmic World Soul.โ #5: The Weird Sisters: Macbeth: Hecate is their master
This list is pretty fitting for a Goddess whose name etymologically may mean โshe that operates from afar.โ She is seldom a central figure or even visible, however witches from the Owens to the Goodes, from Willow Rosenberg to Endora, invoke her name and ask for her spirit, guidance, and presence. Hecate, in many ways, is both the first witch, and the last. She is our alpha and omega. She is the embodiment of power and strength. As a Goddess of Witchcraft, she does not merely exist in the margins of society like the rest of usโShe is the margin itself.
Hail Hecate.
โHecate, Cerridwen. Dark Mother take us in. Hecate, Cerridwen. Let us be reborn.โ ย
Greek Myth: ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Hecate
โHEKATE (Hecate) was the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy. She was the only child of the Titanes Perses and Asteria from whom she received her power over heaven, earth, and sea.โ

The old gods are not dead
I hear Athenas war cry in the shouts of protests,
fighting a war now closer to home,
I see her in the young women with picket signs
clenched tightly in their fists
Hera curses the names of the abusers
The ones who break families and marriages
Her voice heard in the wedding bells of young lovers
Poseidon now resides in a beach home
Going out every night to pick of trash left by the day
Shooting daggers at the drunk men letting their bottles be swept away
Demeter can be heard cursing the politicians refusing to believe in global warming
Names of scientists and studies on the tip of her tongue
She is found teaching young children how to grow their food at the community garden
Ares is found on the front lines of a different war, not fighting but protecting the innocent
Guiding classrooms of children away from gunfire,
His shield protecting the terrified
Apollo can be found at opens mics
Reciting his latest works
Or walking down the street in docs on his feet and a guitar on his back
He knows heโs the coolest
Artemis is seen on the streets
Her bow and arrow have long left her
Carrying nothing more than a knife and mace
She hunts a different kind of monster now
Hephaestus resides in a workshop at all hours of the night
Creating custom pieces for the right price and a warm smile
The hammer making him feel invincible
Aphroditeโs song is heard in the breathy kisses of teenagers
Shes found walking down the street, lips a blood red
Punching the men who dare disrespect her ย
Hermes is seen with a smirk as he walks long well-traveled roads
Delivering the messages of those needing to be heard
Traveling, telling stories, and wearing out another pair of shoes
Dionysusโs voice heard only over the pounding bass in the bar
Keeping watch over young girls drinks
Dancing, partying and living as he throws another one back
Hades is seen weeping over the graves of those taken much to soon
Looking to his wife for comfort
Heโs long lost his faith in humanity
Persephone found in the gardens beside her mother in the spring
Brushing off girlโs dirty knees and putting flower crowns on their heads
She can be seen holding onto hades as he mourns the loss of life
Hecate will be found running metaphysical shops
Bringing hope to powerful women wanting more
Selling potions, nobody thinks will work
And collecting graveyard dirt for a new spell
Zeus is watching over everyone
Watches Athena cry
Hera curse the men, he being one of them
Poseidonโs glares
Demeterโs harsh words
Ares raising his shield
Apollos singing
Artemis as she tracks a new beast
Watches Hephaestus work
Sees Aphrodite punch
Hears Hermes words
Sees hades weep
And Persephone plant and comfort her partner
And grins as Hecate keeps magic alive
The old gods are not dead
They are alive
And they are watching

I love Franciscans. They are just like that.
St. Francis is an animal saint. You canโt be a Franciscan and not love animals.
i love that photoset of elsa and her mom because it clearly shows how the mom is literally just an elsa recolor
God forbid kids and their parents look alike, as if genetics were involved or something, ha
Disney straight up copy past Elsa and her Mom face it just the same face. is not genetic is poor and bad character design
Royal families tend to have smaller gene pools, so thereโs a lot less variety
There is a big difference in look alike because they are blood related and just straight up copy the same face and do different colors for the hair
Again. Is poor character design
โitโs not bad character design itโs inbreedingโ
