Who's Link?

Now, these attacks were made in about one day. But for the last two years, I've had a small back and forth with @vintagefrog and so for the past few days I've been working on my largest artfight attack yet. It should (hopefully) be done sometime today/tomorrow and I'm really excited to see how it turns out >:D

Nu ben ik zelf ook al geen fan van het Grand Hotel, ik vind het (vooral de binnenkant) erg steriel voor de Efteling. Ik heb me ook wel eens uitgelaten over de namen van de winkels en restaurants in het Grand Hotel (Sens, Brasserie 7, etc. in plaats van De Likkebaerd, 't Boeghbeeld, etc. in de rest van het park). De nieuwe achtbaan gaat (waarschijnlijk, het is wel zo aangekondigd maar we weten natuurlijk niet wat wel en niet in het eindproduct zit) Missie Luminar heten, en heeft een concept dat vergelijkbaar lijkt met Voltron in Europa-Park. In de post van de Efteling staat 'Word vanuit een wetenschappelijk instituut afgeschoten op een missie naar het onbekende' en 'Één doel: Het doorbreken van de lichtbarrière'. In de reacties worden er mensen 'missionauten' genoemd. Ik ben een beetje bang dat het Eftelingse verloren gaat. De laatste tijd ligt er veel meer focus op nieuwe verhalen in plaats van bestaande, er zijn regelmatig pogingen om AI in het park te verwerken, en nu komt er een werkelijk futuristische achtbaan. Ik vind het leuk dat er weer een achtbaan komt (zeker als die 2 minuten gaat duren, als ze één belofte waarmaken hoop ik toch dat het die is!), maar ik vind het een beetje spannend wat dit thema kan betekenen voor de rest van het park. Ik schrijf het hele idee niet meteen af, dat wil ik ook niet, ik ben alleen voorzichtig met mijn enthousiasme.

Pardoes the Jackdaw So remember the OJ Pauwtuel (peacock OJ Punctuel) I drew as a funny meme idea? Wellllll I may or may not have sparked an AU of sorts for myself. Symbolica but everyone is a bird hybrid. It's more redesigns than an actual alternate story, but still very fun! Pardoes here is a jackdaw! Playful, smart, mischievous and social, it was my first pick of a bird species for the wizard jester! His colours took a bit of figuring out, as they're not nearly as matching with his design as a peacock for Punctuel, nor do jackdaws have too many patterns to go off of, and on top of that a lot of Pardoes is covered up by his jester suit. But I really like how he turned out! His cape isn't an actual pair of functional wings, but rather what I imagine being more like a Minecraft elytra, where it helps him glide around a bit and looks cool.

Looking through some old stuff got me inspired! So have this redesign of Pardijn in a pretty dress ✨🙌🏻✨
