Hartenhof, Symbolica Another watercolour-only painting! I am honestly so proud of how I made this completely from memory, goes to show how much this palace has been carved into my memory after numerous drawings, a painting, and lots of staring at the building in the theme park itself LOL I don't have a favourite what are you talking about-

Doing some watercolour-only painting to unwind and refresh in between Art Fight! It's very fun to do, no sketching, no reference images, no lineart, just painting and seeing where it goes! Especially fun to experiment with stuff I don't draw so often! Unsurprisingly my mind went to the Efteling so here's the Fairytale Tree! While I definitely took a moment to get used to his design when I first saw him, once I actually took some time to sit down and listen, watching the really impressive movement and detailing on him in the theme park itself, I really enjoyed him! I usually listen to at least one fairytale whenever I pass by him now.

Planning A revenge for @dannypageoflight of Kudzu! I had a lot of fun working on this, we need more Poplin OCs out there!

A revenge in the form of Take for @bamboorocket ! Such a detailed design, visibly had a lot of thought put into it! I struggled a little with this one (also because of the pose LOL) but I was determined!

This started with context but as I was drawing it I realised it's infinitely funnier without context LOL Anyways, more crack friendship content with Evening Star and Sorrow! These two have such a fun(ny) dynamic, they bounce off each other so well Sorrow belongs to @w3ds3n!

Stop Right There! Another attack, it's Puddle and Nareff for MSKirby! Such a fun duo, and I had a lot of fun working on this, too! Again, Art Fight motivating me to draw outside my comfort zone, from anthro and animals to armor!

Who's A Good Plant? An attack for @the-seven-stars or @winksdump! Love their SMRPG art and their art of Wink and Geno is always very wholesome so of course I just had to draw Wink!

Took me a moment to think of a topic but I found a good one that rarely comes up! I love detail work in video games I'm talking dynamic audio, idle animations, trivia, non-mandatory dialogue, just those little things that make the game feel so much more alive even if you didn't notice them the first time you played. The things that the developers could have probably done without, but they didn't and that's what makes it so good. Is every player going to read all the flavor text on every item in Breath of the Wild? Probably not. But reading the information on all the random foods and weapons and shields Link picks up makes the world feel so much more lived in, makes you believe people live and have lived actual lives in this world and it's not just all for the current plot. I love that every character does the same dance slightly differently when you level up in the Super Mario RPG Remake! Such a small simple thing that shows so much personality. Mario doing The Mario, Mallow happily jamming all over the place, Geno trying his best with his awkward little shuffle, Bowser's big stomps, Peach swaying side-to-side. But they all do the same base steps! A Hat In Time having slightly different music for when you're on your scooter or atop a metro in Nyakuza Metro is sooo good! It adds just a slightly different feel to a different movement! They didn't have to do that but they did and I love that. Idle animations, across so many games, are so much fun. Just getting a little peek at the character's personality 'when you're not looking' is such a fun thing to have in games. Maybe they stretch or do a warm-up, maybe they take a nap. Maybe they pull out a prop or maybe they look around. It's fun! Being able to talk to and interact with non-story-relevant characters, or characters that aren't currently playing their active role in the story, is so much fun! It gives the vibe that they're not just plot props, they actually live here! Whether they talk about their lives, give you something for helping them out with a small task, or just say something silly to make you laugh, it makes everything feel alive! I could go on and on and I will if prompted further!

A Dance With Sorrow That sounds very poetic for a silly artwork Anyways, the Tomodachi Life flavoured crack friendship saga continues! Evening Star loves dancing with her friends! Sorrow is not excluded from this. No matter how caught off guard he is by this fact. No worries, Evening Star will lead! All you can have to do is follow! The creation of this artwork also made me and @w3ds3n realise how rediculous their height difference is and it makes the whole visual of little sunshine girl dragging this big scary villain around even funnier LOL This one isn't an attack, I wanted to draw something Not For Art Fight for a bit. I had sooo much fun working on this! I'm very happy with how the expressions and poses turned out! Sorrow belongs to @w3ds3n! Evening Star belongs to me!

A Special Little Doll An attack for @pawsometoons in the form of Quince! Such a neat design, I love the colours! And while you can't add full canon characters (unless their designs are altered), you can add plushies of canon characters, so I hope Quince enjoys his little Geno doll!

Celestial Another attack, that makes this my 10th AF attack! This one is Nebula for nebulit, his design is still one of my favourites I've seen for a star doll, it's so pretty and magical!!

The Tomodachi Life shenanigans continues! This silly idea popped up in my head, and I was going to doodle it. Then I realised "Hey wait I can make an attack out of this!" and then proceeded to make it a fully shaded comic. While it took a lot of effort, I have zero regrets because I love how this turned out and I made some people laugh with it! Featuring of course @w3ds3n's Sorrow, and @nintendonut1's commander Geno! And also of course, my own gal Evening Star!
