Can we talk about how. The first thing Ronan does in all of The Raven Cycle is answer Gansey's phone call. And this is not remarkable in context but then we find out throughout the entire rest of the series that Ronan HATES phones and won't use them. Can we discuss.

it's actually really funny how much trouble the foxes could have avoided if they just listened to neil. most of his lies are done through omission rather than complete fabrication, and sure, neil's an instigator, but he is a self-aware instigator trying really, really hard to behave. it's just that no one listens. every single time he's like 'i should not do that. don't make me do that', everybody forces him to do it anyways so now they have to learn the hard way why they should not have done that

nicky is a bit crazy for being so ready to respond to andrew’s beck and call but it’s never as obvious as during that game when andrew calls him over and says he’s bored and nicky runs over and hits a guy in the shins to get carded. swung that racquet straight to the tibia and thought ”i can’t believe i’m finally bonding with andrew :D”
