In yesterday's #brandvalues workshop, we discussed whether or not to share our values with our audiences. While there's no right or wrong, I'm voting for making them public. . In the era we are living in, transparency is sadly lacking. Women have gotten into the habit of keeping things from each other because we were conditioned to--not because secrecy provides any real benefits (to us, or to others). Coaches who don't list their locations. Creatives who don't post their pricing. Women who won't share knowledge because they're scared their idea/skills isn't "safe" from being stolen. . This is #toxicmasculinity at it's core: a system that puts us against each other so that we don't have the time, energy, out strategies to #fightagainstheman. Let's call bullshit on the whole thing. Let's do this differently. Let's lean into femininity as a way to do business. Let's make money our way. Let's share, guide, cooperate, collaborate, strategize, learn, support, and grow TOGETHER. . p.s.
