So far, I've mostly just drawn Hornet looking normal, like in the game... Just with fur. xD Sometimes I add a charm bearing the symbol of the Weavers of Deepnest to her cloak.

And yes, of course, there’s nothing wrong with simply having a basic Hornet design.

My biggest dilemma is that I’d like to redesign her cloak a bit, but then she wouldn’t be able to glide like she does in Silksong, though I’ve always ignored that fact in all my headcanons, lol.

I posted a few comments to clarify things under a dub of a certain comic (if you know, you know). Everything was very peaceful until yesterday, when someone reacted very negatively to one of my comments.

I politely told him that his negative reaction was inappropriate and that if he didn't like that sort of thing, he could simply move on and ignore it.

When I realized it wasn't getting anywhere, and someone else jumped in later, I just gave up. I’m not wasting my energy on trolls/toxic ppl. Don't feed the trolls! Think about your own health.

Still, it makes me kind of sad that people would rather react in a hurtful/hateful way instead of just ignoring it and moving on. You can express your opinion without being hurtful!

I FINISH SILKSONG?! OMG!

What a journey... What an emotional journey.

Lost Lace isn't one of my favorite fights. The second fight against Lace wasn't exactly my favorite either. I'm not looking forward to the 100% and beating she again… I hope, then I dont need again around 5 hours to beat her!

I still remember how the hype around Silksong hooked me. But all I ever heard was that Hollow Knight is hard. I watched lore videos, read fan fiction, and even let myself get spoiled because, back then, I didn't think I was capable of beating these games, I was intimidated by their difficulty. Yet, I fell more and more in love with the world of Hollow Knight. A good friend encouraged me, gave me confidence, and believed in me. Eventually, he gifted me both games.

There are several reasons for this, as I'm currently working on a few things at the same time. And I'm a rather slow artist. OTL

I’ll be a bit transparent and list the Art-projects along with their current status:

Grimmkin headcanons & ref sheets: Lettering done, sketches done -> outlines up next

FF & Darkside Artworks: 2/3 of outlines done, 1/3 fully completed

*It’s a special Artwork, I haven’t spoken about it until now. I’ll provide more information when I post it, as doing so now would go beyond the scope of this update.

Of course, you could view that negatively or positively, depending on your perspective. I’ve been part of a few fandoms before, but I’ve never gained as much knowledge as I have in the HK fandom, especially regarding technical terms!

You see, I’m the type of person who just goes through life seeing something cool and accepting it as is, without knowing its exact name. Or I’ll write stories, getting an idea and just jotting it down, without realizing there’s a specific technical term for it (which makes things tricky when I want to add tags or a trigger warning but can't, simply because I don't know the right word/term).

It’s happened a few times I wrote a story and showed it to a friend, they said, "Oh, this story features XXX!" and I had no idea what they was talking about. Naturally, I’d Google it or ask them what they meant. (The same goes for trigger warnings, I’m glad my friends were always chill about it when I didn't include one simply because I didn't know the term - or simply didn't know that what I wrote falls under a specific TW, kink or somewhat else... (┬┬﹏┬┬) I'm sorry for all my friends and everyone else, where read one of my ff with poor tagging/tw...)

I’ll probably learn a lot more, but I’ll likely forget some things, too. You never stop learning, after all.

But yeah, please forgive me if I sometimes write a long-winded description when there’s a simple common term I could have used instead of writing a whole novel. I'm just a simple person with a lot of knowledge and things I like, but without knowing the technical terms. xD

But there’s one thing that frustrates me to no end and it’s not the choice between Android and iPad. It’s the software issue that’s driving me crazy! x-x
