i DID like his quest! I am glad that they made him go through character development but he is still unhinged to a certain degree.

I also liked the way they drew parallels between Lohen and Theodore and Eroch and Dottore, both a misguided knight and a doctor using Ursas power. Now with the added background of Ursa being one of the fallen angels who have up their wisdom to keep their power it makes more sense to me how Ursa was used in both the web comic and the quest. And she STILL had this wish of guiding humanity, no matter how twisted it was.

A lot of people hate the fact that Lohen was also one of Dottores test subjects, but I disagree. Sure it's the source of Lohens lust for power but they made sure that this is not His Entire Thing (like with Collei). It's more of a "I hate that there are so many people who transcended humanity to some degree and we mortals can't do anything against them" At the end of his quest he makes sure that this is his motivation for becoming become stronger and as long as he knows WHY he is doing it, he will stay sane.

Also fun fact: in the german version they talk about how Lohen could become "the youngest captain SINCE Diluc becoming cavalry captain", so it doesn't not neccessarily mean that he is younger than Diluc was back then. But I still agree the timeline seems kinda off.

Also remember how in the Dottore cutscene there was more sentences said than segments being shown on screen? And now they made sure to have Dottore talk off-screen in the flashbacks? I do think they did not want to retcon Webttore, they just didn't want to make a model of him with those damn clothes. RIP Webby.
