I’m glad you requested this, I really haven’t seen any Heated Rivalry AUs for Buddie. These were some quick sketches before work but I hope you like them.

I’d seen a few people coming up with AtlA/The Pitt crossover HC and I feel like Dennis is a water bender and Robby is a fire bender.

Dennis being a waterbender healer is kind of cliche, but I think with his background he could actually be the one male healer in his family. He's so gentle with patience, but there's also the possibility of bloodbending that might be useful in a medical setting.

Robby was tricky, but there's a lot of him that reminds me of Zuko and his struggles in the original series. Plus Lightning bending could be extremely useful in a modern medical setting, and him being the chief attending makes it make a lot of sense if he's the only one with that particular ability.

I imagine they start the night in a normal cuddling position, spooning or face to face holding hands. But eventually they’re all tangled where Whitaker is trying to burry himself in Ogilvie’s chest and he’s unconsciously pulling him closer. But Whitaker needed air so that’s where the headlock comes in.

I’ve been seeing a bit of yuri hucklerobby and I’ve been meaning to do some of my own so thank you for suggesting it.

I wasn’t sure what to do with Robby’s hair. I prefer the short pixie, referencing a style from Noah in the 90s, but the long tied back might be from an earlier point in her career maybe.

Whitaker was a lot easier to think about. I imagine her hair being long when she first arrives in S1, including the baby bangs. Trying to be as feminine as she can but still giving farm/horse girl energy. S2 Whitaker is full butch. Not depicted here that clearly but she’s got those bisects too.
