lb: hey lando, you just haven't had much luck this year from a reliability perspective, just sum up how you're feeling right now after today.
lando: pretty good, i'm actually happy to be out of the race. um, now i mean look, i'm fighting for a p8, pg has a penalty now, this was my chance to be there and i get a few points and you know at this point of the year we're not expecting a win or a podium but you know we need to maximise sixth, seventh, fifth little points along the way and they all add up and i'm working hard, the team are working hard and we're just not getting rewarded, we're just being i guess unlucky, some of it's our fault, some of it's you know failures, some of it's just being unlucky so i don't know, we're doing the best we can, i'm doing the best i can but when you just can't finish a race i don't know what i should really expect.
lb: obviously you've been at the team for a long time so you know what this team to do to turn things around very quickly, you must have a lot of faith in them and you know the upgrade strategy that this team has had over the last couple of years to try and pull yourself back into the fight hopefully.
lando: yeah, yeah i do, i really have, i always have faith in the team, i've always had faith in the team, some things take time you know, at the same time we had a good weekend in miami, you know pace was strong, we could have won a race, it's weird thinking that we could have won a race there and here six tenths off in a single lap you know, so it's pretty nice how up and down it is, it shows how difficult it is just to get the car in a good window and perform well every weekend but also shows just how difficult our car is, the fact that we can beat six tenths off and fight for a win is pretty impressive so everyone's working hard, the team are doing the best they can you know and as am i (...) it's just we have to keep chipping away and yeah just hurts to start a lot of races and and not even finish but yeah it's life sometimes.
