i like how caine saying “i never programmed you to say you love me” to the moon showed us how he had the ability to be loved by people without forcing them to love him all along. it hit really hard to me because of his fear of abandonment from being locked away and percieved as a failure, plus the way bubble (his subconscious, at least that’s what i perceive bubble to be/have been) seems to despise him and constantly be deriding him, so caine didn’t think he could be loved by someone unless he “forced” them (popping bubble every time he said something rude to him) or at least forced them to not hate him. god i love character growth.

The way adult fandom people hold indie online creators and cartoons to a much higher standard than their actual local politicians. a professional i am paying money doesnt show up w zero communication and IM the one who has to feel guilty for having to call him and ask whats going on. because when i was a little kid i would get yelled at for nagging. joke world
