I tried to portray Quan Yizhen and Yin Yu’s relationship from Yin Yu’s perspective:

☾ A giant statue of Qying gently holds the just banished Yin Yu. For Yin Yu, this care feels suffocating; the sheer scale of his shidi’s glory presses on him. The divinity of God Qying eclypsed Yizhen himself in Yin Yu’s eyes, the abyss between them seems too big to preserve their relationship. ☾ Or you can find another interpretation in symbolysm of statue: The stone statue ignores Yin Yu's anger and grievance. It's hard, deaf, and blind. Like Yizhen in situations where Yin Yu is vulnerable and harmed. Because Yin Yu never showed his anger and grievance out. He screams deeply inside, drowning himself down in lonelyness and disconnection with Yizhen.

I HC that Quan Yizhen has like, super dark humor or dad jokes because those are the only kind that Yin Yu likes. He will say the most heinous dark joke with a beaming smile in the middle of heavenly meetings and shocks everyone around him. He tells a dad joke in Ghost City while visiting Yin Yu and everyone is mystified when Yin Yu snorts.

They do!! We do imagine that they marry eventually and have a daughter together (sobbing and crying thinking about her hhhfgghh) We do hope to write a couple extras that take place after YG is freed —

- LH belongs to my friend @flowersformariah so Its up to them how her solo adventures go after YG’s disappearance (Ik that she cultivates with LQQ’s guidance but wether she ascends or if something else happens I’m not sure yet 👀 but yes they do meet again!)
