just got to this line in my murderbot reread and it is possibly my favorite line in the whole series. just. the way martha wells casually drops the most devastating comments about the treatment of secunits in the midst of badass action sequences, and murderbot figuring out what to do with its newfound autonomy, and liking things?? and figuring out how to exist in relation to what it is and used to be?? idk if I’m being coherent I just love this bit so much
its so funny/a little insane that mensartbot is considered a rare pair when like. thats just the text. I am the most canon compliant shipper in existence, I don’t really do anything crazy and usually go with whatevers popular. what do you mean there werent any spaces for the three of them or even a ship name before I showed up. martha wells told me herself murderbot has two hands in the books she wrote, she literally just gave mensah and art joint custody. I won by doing nothing.
