i love that we're always writing theo as this fucker who doesn't show feelings to anyone bc he doesn't need anyone's pity, no boo-hoo, im not a sad loser, but he's actually just reactive as liam. when liam and the sheriff are about to leave him in the station, he might had some answers on his sleeve, but he's reaction to sheriff dismissal is not that different from any reaction liam had towards brett in s4. he literally jumped on liam, all angry, before they went into the hospital, almost crying in liam's face after hearing that liam's plan was getting the ghost riders to them. he totally lost the control of his heartbeat just seeing that same hospital hallway tara passed times and times when he was in hell. he jumped on scott, full of anger, when he said theo was barely human—and before that, you already can see the anger and the jealousy coming off him. he's, again, crying in the sewers when mason says he can't take pain, and, in terms of interpretation, he could also be visibly sad bc he didn't know how to do it, bc we know, by s5, that he feels hurt for not being a real werewolf. he's almost crying when he tells liam that chimeras are a cheap knockoff. mason can also see theo's afraid, when they're in the sewers, like, yeah, they were influenced by the anuk-ite, but theo's anger is spot since the first moment they get into the sewers, like, cuz that place is a trigger for him. he's visibly bothered by it. HE FLINCHING WHEN HE SEES GABE BEING SHOT! most of his reactions are anger and tears. like, he's more vulnerable than we give him credit for. and he doesn't hide that well either. if we actually could see someone finding him sleeping in his car, im sure his reaction would be an angry defensive response like how he was acting in the sewers with mason, which is not that different from some of liam's uncontrollable reactions
