There's a deeply awful volume of celebrities of all stripes (actors, directors, athletes, musicians, authors, etc.) at both the macro and micro levels who have done or have been accused of doing horrible, heinous shit and are enabled to do so and protected by associates, fans, and society at large; no acknowledgement, no accountability, no consequence, nothin'. There are people far more intelligent and articulate than I who have discussed this reality and both the individual and societal, systemic causes for it at length.
So in the face of all the rotten systems at play and the very powerful and very known people who get away with harming others, I don't know what there is I as one person can do to effect genuine change, but to get to my point I'm gonna be so fuckin' for real the fact that the shit with the B--r Gh--t allegations got swept under the rug is gonna drive me up a fucking wall for an eternity I don't know how that got shuffled passed so easily.
