smth i think abt a lot is like. ok yes we know mettaton and maddie are still ghosts in deltarune so work with me here. if they, as robot and doll body, went to the dark world, where objects are People. how would that work. like w mettaton since that body was built Expressly for him i can see that maybe it wouldn't count, but maddie Found her body. would it be a darkner. like debatably It Is A Doll, and we know w seam that objects that already resemble light world People/Animals can also be darkners. would it be like a possession. would they be cohabitating. what about flowey. can Organic things like flowers be darkners. like i kinda don't think so bc so far they've all been Man Made Manufactured things but people are really convinced that the flower shop will become a darkworld which i do think would be cool. but like anyway I don't think mettaton's robot body would count bc that drawing of father alvin didn't turn out to be a darkner(assuming we wont see him later or something) so as of now i think Hand Made Personally Made things and organic materials like the aforementioned wouldn't count. i Am always thinking about the logistics of the dark world and it Does not grant me peace
