Thank you all for your patience for this next chapter, it was allot behind it.

Hello OC fanfiction writers!  There seemed to be plenty of you interested in the idea I presented - an exchange of reviews for our stories.  For those of you familiar with ocappreciation’s secret santa, this exchange will run similarly.  

First, you will submit an OC fanfiction story (with at least 3 chapters) that you would like reviewed.   (now until  February 29, 2020)

Then, after the submission date as closed, I will post a masterlist of fics sorted by fandoms with summaries, pairings (if applicable), and what platform they are located on.  (March 1, 2020)

Those who would like to participate will have one week to send in 3 fics they are interested in and I will then do my best to make sure you get one of those fics, or I will ask you to choose again if all those fics have been chosen. (Try to pick a fic you haven’t read before) (March 1-7, 2020)

You will then have until March 21, 2020 to get at least 3 reviews done on the story you are to review.

Inspiration.

Elysia Carr was many things, but never once did she see herself as a hero. Heroes in her eyes were unafraid, they didn’t worry constantly about the consequences of their actions. They just did, and somehow it always ended up all right for the people that they loved. For the people around them that might get hurt if they misjudged things. She felt as far away from being a hero as one could get, looking at Thomas Shelby with a gun in his hand and a dead body at his feet.

And yet, somehow she still managed to steel her nerves. She managed to remind herself that he was the man she’d grown up listening to stories from. He’d spent a majority of her childhood doing impressions, always smiling in the hopes of easing the concerns of the kids around him. It was the War that had changed him.

But that time had changed her, too. Ellie refused to back down. She had to do this, had to make sure that the people she cared about most in the world were safe. If that meant swallowing her fear and making a deal with the devil, then she could do that.

Because, despite what Elysia Carr might have believed of herself, she was a hero. After all, heroes aren’t fearless. Heroes are brave. Bravery requires fear. And fear is born from loving something enough that its loss would break you. Qualities Elysia had in spades, whether she knew it or not.

Okay not gonna lie, season 2 was such a dumpster fire in my opinion it kinda killed my muse for julia and her story. Regardless, I did draft out a few things. In terms of their relationship, it was going to very much be a will they won’t they type thing. It was going to be really angsty because it is quite clear that they still love each other but Dick has been burned by Julia’s decision to cut him out and then estrange herself from him for like ten years. By the end of season 1, they start to heal from it. But Dick isn’t really sure if he wants to try again with her. There is still a lot they he has to deal with himself and come to terms with. Plus with the whole Jericho thing and his problems with Hank, Dawn and Donna, Julia very much is an outsider with this group. She was never part of Titans, so she’s kinda just observing it from the sidelines. I did plan on going more into her romantic relationship with Donna in season 2. There was quite a bit I planned to write but I don’t think I’ll be writing for Freefall any time soon.
