It’s clickbait 🥲 yes he was laughing, not at Erika though. At the beginning of the hearing, he was chatting with his attorneys and laughing because a news agency (Deseret News) had submitted their media request a day late, resulting in no still photography yesterday. Erika and her family and supporters were sitting a few rows behind him, and she was weeping apparently. I’m not sure Tyler was even aware of what she was doing, and in any case, is he not allowed to have human reactions to lighthearted things that happen in court? He’s also smiled and laughed in the past when Judge Graf and the other attorneys made jokes. Though I’d have loved it if he went beast mode lmao
