Usopp promises to take Yuuna on pirate adventures when she masters the slingshot so she waits for the day he'll come and take her out to sea. Throughout the years, Yuuna trains and prepares, knowing the day will come.

"I want to sail the seas with my crew!"

Background:

Mary was found on the rocky shores of Helm Island by a shipwright, Pompen, as a child. Besides her name, Mary couldn't remember anything about her life so Pompen took Mary under her care and raised her. Mary was an odd child who didn't know what a tree was and talk to ships like they were people. She also had an innate skill for shipbuilding and sailing. Mary dreamed of going out to sea with her 'crew' and awaited the day they would arrive, despite never revealing how she knew her crew would find her. Until then, she honed her skills.

“I’m going to be the greatest sniper in the world!”

Background:

Yuuna grew up in Syrup Village on Gecko Island with her mother and her two elder brothers. Because she was the youngest, she was often doted upon by her family but she was quite the adventurous and trouble-making girl.

Yuuna idolizes her father and wanted to be just like him. She learned how to use a slingshot and joined “The Gecko Branch” of the Usopp Pirates (which was just Pepper, Onion, and Carrot saying they were looking out for pirates as an excuse to take a break from work). Occasionally, Usopp visits his family and Yuuna loves to hear him tell stories of grand adventures. She wants to make her father proud and dreams of being a great pirate like her father.

The Viper Pirates, a rookie crew of pirates who came together in the East Blue during the new age of piracy. With just five members, they are ready to take on the Grandline.

The no-nonsense, haki-wielding, bootleg-marine captain who is determined to fight the Pirate King, Valker.

The wielder of the Burn-Burn Fruit and former pirate captain turned cook, Crackerjack Agni.
