His blue eyes pierce through lies and hesitation â no one disobeys once he gives an order.
Rage is rare, but when it comes, itâs like a storm that obliterates everything.
First Mate & Sniper â Blackheart Rogue
Precision incarnate. A silent phantom perched above the battlefield.
Never wastes bullets, never misses.
The world whispers his name as if speaking it will summon a bullet through their skull.
His loyalty to Cole is absolute â his silence reinforces Coleâs commands without question.
Shipwright â Mad Dog Fuwwy
The only chaos allowed aboard the Silent Crow.
Keeps the ship in pristine condition, but his ârepairsâ are often booby-traps waiting to sink enemies.
Behind his manic laughter lies a calculating engineer who never fails his captain.
Doctor â Septimus, the Deranged Surgeon (ft @shuggymaniac itâs my friend character)
Cold, clinical, terrifyingly precise.
To him, flesh is no different from wood or steel something to be cut, fixed, or improved.
His presence keeps the crew in top condition, but also serves as a warning: betray the captain, and Septimus will be the last face you see.
They move like predators on the hunt â silent, efficient, lethal. There is no wasted motion, no hesitation, no mercy.
Where most pirate crews fight with noise and chaos, the Silent Crow fights with quiet precision, the silence before death.
The Seagull War
One morning on deck, a seagull stole bread from Coleâs hand.
He froze. âYou dare challenge me, sky-rat?â
Before anyone could stop him, he loaded a pistol and aimed at the bird.
âCaptain, donâtââ Rogue started, but BANG. He missed.
Now a whole flock was circling the ship.
Cole snarled, drew his sword, and shouted, âArm the cannons!â
The crew had to physically restrain him before he started an all-out war against seagulls.
Later that night, Cole sat brooding, muttering, âNext time⌠Iâll win.â
Fighting Sea Kings
The Silent Crow drifted lazily on calm waters perfect for a normal day. But Cole, leaning against the railing with a mischievous grin, suddenly snapped his fingers.
âI know what we should do today!â he announced.
Blackheart Rogue raised an eyebrow. âDo I want to know?â
Coleâs grin widened. âWeâre going to fight thirteen Sea Kings!â
Rogue choked on his coffee. âWhat?! Why?! Why would anyone ever do that?!â
âBecause⌠Iâm bored.â Cole shrugged, as if that explained everything.
Fuwwy nearly dropped the wrench he was using to fix a mast. âYOUâRE BORED?!â He screamed, swinging wildly. âThose are giant sea monsters! Thatâs⌠thatâs literally a terrible idea!â
Septimusâs eyes widened, and he muttered, âI had a nice, quiet day planned⌠now weâre all going to die because heâs bored.â
Cole jumped to the prow, striking a dramatic pose. âTo the Sea Kings! Adventure awaits!â
âNO! STOP! THIS IS INSANE!â Rogue yelled, chasing after him with a rope. But Cole had already leapt, landing smack in a puddle of water with a triumphant splash.
Fuwwy grabbed a barrel for balance, which promptly rolled off the deck. He flailed after it, shouting, âI am too young for this nonsense!â
Septimus, holding a scalpel like it would magically save them all, shouted, âWhy do I even follow you?!â
Cole waved casually at the approaching Sea Kings. âHello, giant fish. Youâre about to be my new toys!â
Rogue facepalmed. âToys?! Theyâll eat you!â
Cole ignored him and began dramatically wrestling with the first Sea King. One fin smacked him, sending him spinning into the water like a ragdoll.
âCOLE, GET OUT OF THERE!â Rogue screamed, diving in after him, only to get splashed and nearly knocked over by another Sea King.
Fuwwy tried to lasso Cole but somehow ended up capturing Rogue, who was now dangling upside down and screaming, âI AM NOT A MONKEY!â
Septimus sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. âI officially hate everythingâŚâ
Meanwhile, Cole popped back up from the water, dripping wet, hair plastered to his face, grinning like this was all part of the plan. âIâm having fun! You should try it!â
Rogue groaned. âFun?! Weâre all going to die! This is not fun!â
Fuwwy added, dangling from a rope by one arm, âThis is peak stress⌠peak, I say!â
And Septimus, half-submerged in a puddle of his own panic, muttered, âIâm retiring. Iâm done. I quit.â
Cole just laughed, striking yet another heroic pose as another Sea King flopped nearby. âBoredom is the mother of adventure, my friends!â
The crew screamed, struggled, and flailed, each moment descending further into utter, chaotic hilarity⌠and Cole was loving every second.

apparently i never officially introduced these guys to tumblr, so itâs definitely time to do that. this group of ocs is my first official crew made entirely of original characters, so i hope theyâre well-received!
for starters, they donât necessarily have a crew name or a gang leader. thereâs seven of them, but with the exception of one, theyâre all in their late teens or early twenties. they spend their days driving from zone to zone and looking for work, but since theyâre all skilled in different areas, each week they rotate which members will do jobs and which ones will get time to rest. they drive a minivan because they canât fit all seven of them in any other car.
now hereâs a brief summary of each member (under the cut because it's Really Long):
- river riot (they/them): the first oc for this crew that i came up with! (shoutout to those who suggested the name on discord.) river riotâs sarcastic, quick-thinking, passionate, and tenacious. they donât take shit from anyone, but theyâre extremely close with their crewmates. they used to be a waitress in the city, but left when they were about nineteen years old. they have a daughter, amelia, who was born in the zones, and their best friend is sebastian blaze.
- xenon lights (xe/they): xenon lights is bubbly, happy-go-lucky, outgoing, and thoughtful. xe left the city when xe was only five years old, and xeâs one of the youngest in their crew. xe DJs at various clubs and parties throughout the zones and loves to dance. they make friends everywhere xe goes and isnât afraid to talk to anybody they find interesting. also, xyr hair is green!
- sebastian âbasâ blaze (he/him): sebastian blaze is quiet, kind, dependable, and gentle. he was the newest edition to the crew, but river riot befriended him immediately. ever since then, theyâve been as close as siblings. he owes his nickname to river, too, and they like to tell everyone itâs short for âbastard.â he has the best sense of fashion out of the crew and likes to tease his friends if they ask him for style advice. heâs a part-time artist, too, and sells his paintings at zone fairs.
- mallory rabbit (she/he): mallory rabbit is confident, brave, glamorous, and independent. she uses both she and he pronouns because, in her words, he likes âto keep everyone wondering.â his hair is half-pink and half-black, and heâs over six feet tall. she and carbon carson are both mechanics, although she was taught by a professional during an apprenticeship in the city. her favorite thing to do is go to zone concerts, and no matter how large the crowd is, heâs always in the front.
- carbon carson (he/him): carbon carsonâs adventurous, clumsy, hard-working, and full of energy. people know him as âthe italian guy,â because he brings up the fact that heâs part italian in practically every conversation. along with mallory, heâs also a mechanic, but he learned by observing other people work and catalogued the information after heâd seen it once. he has a photographic memory and it comes in handy a lot.
- strawberry daiquiri (he/they): strawberry daiquiri is easy-going, lovable, talented, and self-reliant. heâs one of the oldest killjoys in this crew, and he had a twin brother that was killed by SCARECROW the night after they left the city. heâs the one that organizes zone-wide team sports every so often, but on the days the crew is lying low, he likes photography. heâs taken pictures of everyone in the gang and put them into a little sketchbook that he keeps under the passenger seat of the van.
- amelia (she/her): amelia's a baby! she was the unexpected product of a night between river riot and someone they later found out to be party poison, but she's being raised by river's crew. she's a happy baby that loves getting attention and making people smile. she likes spending time with her crew, and she has a small toy giraffe that she carries everywhere. sheâs curious too--she likes to crawl everywhere and touch everything in sight.
Day two: Blasters
Ok so not really âblastersâ but like- the fact that this crew hardly uses them. Anyway, @killjoynest, I hope you like it!!
You learn a lot about a person in a firefight. Some things are cooler than others, but what you learn could save your ass one day. Take the Sorrowful Ladies, for instance. Fighting with this ragged group of lesbians, you quickly realize that these women are a fuckin force to be reckoned with. Witch save any Drac unfortunate to be at the receiving end of whoever might see âem- because each lady was a different way of dusting the daylights outta you. The leader- Amy Ammunition- got her left arm cut off in the helium wars; and there are different accounts of what happened- sheâll change the story every time you ask her. But legend says that, rather than stopping the push on enemy lines to tend to the wound or wait for a new arm, she ripped a machine gun off of its stand, stripped it down to the bare necessities, and tied it to what was left. They won that strip of land back from BL/I- and that night she hot-wired it to herself. And so, she was the only soldier with a machine gun for an arm.Â
After the wars, she set up a crew, and the first one she picked up Switchblade. And as you might have guessed from her name, she pulls knives out of thin air- you blink- and itâs impaled between a Dracâs eyes- usually, itâll be out of range for a blaster. She has gone on record to say that guns are over-rated, but thatâs the only records that we have. No one knows where she came from- city, zones, or somewhere completely different- no one knows if sheâs even human. Her deadly accuracy isnât helping that case. And not just knives. Axes, scissors, spears, anything sharp and throwable, youâre fucked.
Third on our list is Fading Sparks. At first glance, sheâs cute- sheâs smaller in size, always has a smile on her face. But donât let that fool you- if you think Fun Ghoul is addicted to bombs, you havenât seen her. Itâs all she uses. Sheâs an ex-weaponry manufacturer for BL/I- one of the last humans employed before mom and dad put in the droids. She specialized in⌠well, small things that make big booms. So bombs, grenades, smoke shields- she once made a bomb out of an old car battery, some power pup, a hair clip, and some thread. That thing took out three to thirty pigs; the number depends on the person you ask. But all these years of explosions have damaged her hearing- sheâs completely deaf in one ear, and getting on half deaf in the other. That wonât stop her from blowing your brains out, though, so donât underestimate her, and Destoya bless anyone who does.
The fourth one might not even exist. Sheâs only whispered about in the dead of night, between strangers at concerts; her very name can bring a hush over an entire rave- ImmortĂĄl. Sheâs a cryptid. You have to either be very lucky or very unlucky to meet her. Sheâs the closest thing youâll never see to the witch. Rumors have spread that she can talk with her directly, no one knows who started it, but whoever did, theyâre probably dead. All we know for certain is that she wears all white- with clean bandages over her eyes. Sheâs never in claps. Sheâs never at the markets. Sheâs never⌠anywhere. And she freaks the hell outta mom and dad- or so Iâve heard. Of course, youâre not hearing any of this from me, but listen- if youâre not on their good side, then Iâd stay the fuck out of their way. Those women are scary was hell.
@evanlilydanser Here is your request! i hope you enjoy it!
As the Stormâs End enters Aryaâs line of sight a chill crawls up her spine. It was the first time in years that Arya felt nervous about anything. She stands proudly and grips the railing tightly. She was Arya Stark. Kingslayer, world savior, Azor Ahai to some, and the daughter of Ned and Cat Stark. She would not fear returning to a place she never called home. After all, she was heading back to Winterfell after this. Davos already swore to deliver her maps to Kingâs Landing once she got them to him.
âI can see the castle! Itâs so big!â
âNot as big as Winterfell my little Snowflake.â Arya teases as the little girl next to her starts to get excited.
âIs this Westeros?â
âYes, it is. You see that is just the bay up ahead but the towers in the distance are your fatherâs castle. Then weâll go to visit your aunt and uncles.â Arya promises as she has promised a hundred times before.
âLike Uncle Bran. The raven man who visits my dreams?â She bends down and wraps her arms around her daughter. She didnât fear the ravenâs visits but her daughterâs behavior was often erratic afterward. The last time the Raven had visited was a week ago. The night after she had decided to sail back home to Westeros. She was twice as energetic afterward. Sometimes even picking up Needle and running throughout the ship below deck with the weapon swinging wildly in her hands. It was days before she had calmed down. Arya had had to take Needle and hid it so she didnât hurt anybody. Now after long travels, her daughter would finally be able to put faces to all the names she knows.
Arya sets her daughter on the rail in front of her. Instinctually her hands grab for the rail. Arya wraps her arms around her daughterâs stomach as her small hands hold them both against the rail. Seven years she had been gone. Seven years she had spent mapping out the west that was West of Westeros. The mysterious seas and lands no others have had the chance to know.
Arya had seen so much of it. Almost all of it with her daughter by her side. She squeezes her daughter closer to her as they get closer to the land. She had only written Gendry one letter. A letter to tell him that she was pregnant with his child back after she had gone a third month without her moon blood. She never got a reply so she never wrote another letter. When she wrote to her sister about deciding to come back Sansa had insisted she dock south at Stormâs end first. When Ser Davos sent her a letter he wanted much the same.
So here Arya was returning home to confront her childâs father and her family. She hopes her findings are enough to smooth over any hurt with her family. Yet with Gendry she knows it wonât affect things. It wonât fix them.
âMommy are you okay?â Her daughter asks as she squirms in her grip. She wiggles until she was able to look at her motherâs face.
âOf course it is my little kitten,â Arya promises as she pats down her daughterâs hair. Her hair was a gorgeous black. While her fatherâs had looked like coal herâs was an inky color. Solid, and glossier then Gendryâs ever was. Her face was long but her jaw was shaped like his as well. Arya remembers tracing her fingers along that jaw before leaving. It was all in an attempt to remember him as well as she could before she would leave. Was she remembering it well at all?
âYouâre sad.â Her kitten claims as she frowns.
âNo, Iâm not sad. I just havenât been back for a long time.â Arya explains.
âDocking! Weâre docking!â The men shout back and forth as the crew prepares to dock and tie down the vessel. Arya squeezes her arms around her daughter once more as the men behind them start running back and forth. Her kitten always became frightened whenever the men began to run on the deck. Ever since Addam fell off and drowned when he went running. Arya had told her it was only because it was raining and the deck was extra slippery. None of that helped, however.
âMom! There are people there!â
Arya chuckles as her daughter starts to count them. She never realized how much she took for granted that people worked on docks. This would be her daughterâs first time meeting someone who wasnât their crew. Hopefully, itâll be a positive experience for her. Arya lifts her little girl up, setting her on top of her shoulders.
âIs my little kitten ready to meet Westeros?â
âYeah! Iâm going to kick it!â
âYou canât kick a whole country sweetie.â
âShe can try!â Shouts Durran her second in command. He was wearing his finest clothes today in anticipation of getting to see home. The Stormlands man had sailed for two decades before Arya had found and hired him in Kingslanding. He had almost as much of an interest in the West as she did.
âUncle Durran! Wanna kick Westeros with me?â She asks excitedly basically jumping on her motherâs shoulders.
âI thought I did when I left it. Or that I would kick it before I got back at least.â Durran jokes making a swift move across his neck with his finger for Arya to see.
âGlad you survived. Now you can help guide us to the castle in Stormâs End.â Arya points out pleasantly.
He offers her a raised eyebrow. âI thought the captain would want to go North first.â He points out as her little kit reaches out for him. Durran takes her in his own arms and holds her still as Arya looks back out towards the docks.
âIn time, Durran, I will.â She looks softly at her daughter. Her black hair flying in the wind. The way the strands fly reminds her of the way a squidâs tentacles move when it was first being dragged out of the water. She almost looks more like a Greyjoy then a Baratheon. Arya frowns as the thought floats through her head.
âWe are going to visit my father first!â her little kit announces. Durran hugs her tighter to him careful to press a hand over the ear that wasnât against his chest.
âDoes the lord know youâre coming?â
âHis Lordship probably does.â She looks over to see they were being tied down at the docks now. âI guess weâll find out if my brother sent him notice or not.â
âPardon me captain, but I know we were out of paper yet I feel like you should have tried to send some sort of message to him. Lords donât like sudden interruptions.â Durranâs voice is low as he talks. His eyebrows burrow down and his usual smile was gone. He was concerned about them. After all these years away Aryaâs crew had grown to be her family. Her pack. His concern was valid but Durran didnât know Gendry. No one knows Gendry like she does.
âDonât worry Durran. It all be okay.â
âIf you say so Captain. I still insist that Coratt, Rufus, and I come with you.â
âIf you three come who should we trust command of the ship with?â
âHugh can watch it. He been taking on more responsibility as of late. I trust him not to run off with the ship.â Durran explains letting go of her daughterâs ears as the girl pulls at his hand.
âFine.â Arya looks around to see that Hugh was currently hanging off the side of the ship. He tugs on the rope to check itâs strength. âHugh guess what?â She shouts across the deck. Hugh looks up with surprise. He lets go of the rope for a minute only to immediately start falling back. Arya offers Durran a speculative glance. Only for him to smile proudly as Hugh scrambles back up by using the rope.
âYouâre in charge while weâre gone! Corrat, Rufus, youâre both coming with us to Stormâs End!â She rolls her eyes as they Durranâs smile grows. âHappy now?â
âYes, Captain!â
âGood. Now, do you wanna go on shore Little Cat?â Her daughter cheers as she scrambles out of Durranâs hold. Arya grabs Durranâs shoulder as her daughter runs towards the ramp the men were still setting up. She squeezes it before offering a small smile. After everyone, she lost Arya was finally home. All those years without payment, without ever knowing what would happen next he had remained steadfast. A loyal ally on the cold, un-caring seas.
âYour welcome milady.â Durran rests his hand on top of hers. He squeezes it in return as Arya watches her daughter touch Westerosi soil for the first time in her life.
âIâm no lady Durran.â
âNo. I donât imagine you ever were Captain.â
âMother!â As her kittenâs scream fills the air Aryaâs heart constricts. Feeling as if someone had just punched her square in the chest, she runs. Letting go of Durran Arya pulls out her valyrian dagger. She leaps over the side railing of her ship and lands on the edge of the boardwalk.
Almost immediately she spots her men running for her daughter. As she runs with them she finally spots her. Her daughter was standing in front of a man looking as if she was about to cry. The man however was was on his knees waving his hands up and down. His face was covered in a hood, and judging from the rest of his attire he was a commoner.
âDonât cry! Please stop crying,â the man begs. As he looks up and sees all fourteen of the men and her running at him his face pales.
Arya grabs her kitten and pulls her away as Tomas and Brandon tackle the man down. She points her dagger at him as she looks over her daughter. âAre you hurt? Why did you scream?â
âI was running to land and then out of nowhere, the man was there. I could get past him. He looked scary. Mom I think heâs a giant!â
âHe didnât touch you, or try to pick you up?â
âNo.â Her daughter looks up a ther with big, confused steel grey eyes.
âSweetie there are going to be lots of people you wonât recognize. You should only scream like that if you feel unsafe.â
âBut heâs a giant!â
âThe last giants died in the last great war of Westeros. Iâve told you that my dear. Just because the men of the crew arenât as tall as him doesnât make him a giant.â
âYouâre shorter than all your men!â The man announces boldly as he tries to push off Tomas. Brandon was barely helping to keep him down as his arm stays on the manâs shoulders.
âYou should know better than to scare a little girl.â Arya retorts waving Brandon off. The brown haired riverlander motions for Tomas to let go.
âYeah well youâre little girl shouldnât be alone on the docks. I thought she was lost.â
Arya holds her daughterâs hand tightly as she glares at the man. âMy name is Arya Stark. Sister to Queen Sansa Stark of the North. If you touch my daughter again my men wonât be the ones you have to deal with.â
Somehow the manâs hood had stayed on during the attack. His face was covered but she could see his lips make a little o shape. He hadnât been expecting royalty to come through. Arya knew she shouldnât be so quick to threaten a stranger, but strangers were dangerous in Westeros. They often brought death on their heels.
âThrowing titles around like that. How do I know you are who you say you are? Princess Arya has been lost for years.â
âIâve returned.â She growls through gritted teeth.
âAye and with a little girl!â He was angry, his tone vicious and accusatory. âFrom what I heard Arya Stark loved no man. Now you say youâre here and even have a child. How old is that girl?â
âIâm eight years.â Her daughter answers as Durran comes up. He rests a hand on Aryaâs shoulder. His eyes asking her what she wanted to be done.
âPlease take my daughter Durran. I do not want us to have to chase after her on our entire way to Stormâs End.â
âYes Captain Stark,â Durran adds emphasis on her name as he takes her daughter.
The man was as quiet as stone now. His lip was pressed in a thin line. The edges of his frown twitching as he stares at her. âI imagine thatâs the girlâs father. He should better watch her too. What if I had been someone dangerous?â
âI still donât know that you arenât.â She retorts lifting her blade up towards his neck. Arya doesnât even bother to respond to the notion of Durran fathering her child. This random man had no right to that information. She takes a few steps at the man. His frown deepens as she gets closer. His arms were shaking at his sides and from the lack of bulges in his pockets he had no money. He could have been trying to ransom her little girl. Unless he spoke the truth and honestly had no idea who she was. Arya somehow doubted that. There werenât many women who were captains around this part of Westeros. When she was only her bladeâs length away from the man she realizes the sides of his face were wet. He was crying.
âWho are you?â
The man pulls his head down furiously. Wet, blue eyes meet her gaze. Arya freezes as she realizes that this was his lordship, Gendry Baratheon. He takes a step closer to her, completely ignoring the tip of the dagger. It digs into his shirt as he takes another step closer. Arya pulls the weapon away from him as Gendry speaks.
âBran said to watch for your ship. Iâve been here for three weeks. Ever since I received his letter. Davos has been taking care of Stormâs End for me.â He explains still watching her. His tears still flowing freely from his eyes. âYou have a daughter?â His voice sounds heartbroken. Arya suddenly becomes acutely aware that her men have all started heading back to the ship. All save for Durran who remained steadfastly by her side. She looks down at his feet. She knows she has to look at some part of him. Even if it wasnât his face like he deserved.
âWe have a daughter,â she explains suddenly feeling breathless. She waits a moment for him to yell, to accuse her of lying. To demand that she leaves, but when nothing happens she looks back at him. He was staring at their daughter now. Arya reaches out for his face. She stops herself and leaves her cupped hand there. In the air between them unsure of if she was even allowed to touch him anymore. She hadnât imagined it going like this. Arya hadnât felt so unsure of everything when she first arrived. How had he changed everything in a matter of moments? How was he always able to do that with her?
âHer name is Cat.â
âYour mother,â he realizes finally looking back at her. âArya, why did,â
âI didnât tell you because I wasnât sure if I would ever come back. Then there was an accident and we havenât had ink in years. We ran out of paper a year ago. So only Bran knows.â Only because Bran did not need letters to know.
Gendry looks hurt as he grabs her cupped hand. He pushes his cheek into it and holds her there.
âHe should have told me. You should have,â His breath catches and Gendry squeezes his eyes shut. âGods Arya Iâve waited so long for you to return. I thought you dead, and now,â he looks back at Little Cat. His tears slowly dry up and his lips curl up. âIâve missed so much.â
Arya rubs her thumb over his cheek. âWeâll catch each other up.â She makes the promise without thinking. She realizes after that they may never be caught up. He had missed so much of their daughterâs life thanks to her. She had stolen it all away from him. From them.
âLittle kitten, meet your father.â She nods to Durran. The man sets Cat down and whispers something into her ear.
âMy father is a giant?â The girl asks in all seriousness.
The three adults laugh together at her. âSheâs bull-headed,â Arya explains apologetically.
âJust like her father.â Gendry lets go of her and bends back down to Catâs level. This time with his hood down and a smile on his face. âHey there Cat.â
âAre you my Uncle Jon? You have dark hair like Jon is supposed to.â
Arya sighs. âCat I just said this was your father. Donât be rude.â
Cat laughs and holds her stomach as she bends over. âI know that. I was playing a joke. Uncle Bran said dad likes jokes.â
Gendry looks at Arya, confused. Arya shrugs and motions to her head. Bran was always doing weird mind things. Gendry smiles, half-understanding. That was as much as anyone could understand. âI have no idea where your Uncle Bran got that idea, but I am far taller than your Uncle Jon.â
Arya steps away as the two talk. Durran follows her lead. Gently he takes her arm and guides her a few feet away from them. His face was a mix of joy, and concern. âCaptain?â He looks back at Gendry and Cat. âAre you sure this is okay? If this is how your Lord Gendry reacts, how will your family?â
âBetter than him,â Arya admits smiling at her family. Sansa and Gendry were the two she was expecting to react the worse. If this was how little drama there was from Gendry then she expects even less from her sister. Especially since Bran had more than likely told her or Tyrion. If it was the latter then Tyrion had definitely written to her sister. Cat grabs Gendryâs hands and compares them to her own. When she grabs parts of her hair and places them on top of his head Arya realizes she was seeing how much of her father was in her. A childâs curiosity was an amazing thing.
âItâs good to be home.â As Arya speaks Durran smirks, and for a moment she thought she saw a strand of white in the first mateâs hair. As she blinks the sun out of her eyes itâs gone again.
