Ann is an incredibly affectionate girlfriend, so she was a bit worried whenever you genuinely looked surprised that she hugged you or gave you a kiss or complimented you like that's not what a girlfriend is supposed to do

When she brought that up and you revealed how starved you were for affection, ann was flabbergasted. How could someone so adorable and sweet like you have gotten so little affection?

From that moment on she amped up her affection and clinginess to 100 which is saying a lot considering how affectionate she was even before

She gives you a compliment every 5 minutes and hugs you and peppers your face in kisses every time you enter a room, she doesn't care who's watching, she will give you your hourly dose of affection and no one is going to stop her

Makoto is very not used to romance and affection, so she's quite touchstaverd too but not on your level

But she is very observant and very quickly saw you look uncomfortable whenever she gave you quick hugs or pecks on the lips and grew worried that she was the one making you uncomfortable in some way which she hated the thought of

But when you explained that you actually really loved those little moments of affection and were just not used to them makoto was relieved that it wasn't her fault but also sad for you because knows how it feels to not be used to affection

She is more open with physical affection than she was before, openly giving you long hugs or kisses even in public, even if the other thieves tease her to no end about it, she's not bothered as she's doing it to show you her love after all

Futaba kinda learned to be affectionate through being with you, she found out that she couldn't just express the love she felt for you through quiet I love yous so she just started hugging you and demanding cuddles whenever she felt like it, only in private though

She initially teased you a lot when she noticed how blushy and uncomfortable you got during those hugs, saying stuff like "what? Is this the first time you've been hugged or something?" And when you didn't laugh and just blushed more she was like "......wait actually?"

Hugs got a lot more frequent after that, just like kisses and compliments, she has an affection qouta she has to give you every day and gives you interest the next day is she does as much as give you one less kiss than usual

She's still uncomfortable about doing stuff like that in public though, but she will still mostly cling to you when you're near your friend group

Haru okumura

While haru may look quiet and blushy she is very affectionate with you, hand holding is one of her favorite things to do and so she started to worry for you since something as simple and tame as that could make you look so uncomfortable

Haru's hugs are so amazing you'll quickly get used (and addicted) to them. She's just very warm and soft and incredibly fluffy. She feels like she's made for hugs and cuddles she also smells very good with all the time she spends around flowers

Compliments are also one of her favorite ways to show you her love, anything you did to change your look she loves it and will make sure you know it. She will also buy you so many clothes and tell you how cute you look in everyone of them

Ann is very clingy and physically affectionate, hugs and kisses are a given whenever she sees you, and pda is no concern of hers, in fact the more people there are the better, she needs to show off the wonderful person she managed to pull after all

Ann is pretty ok with kids, she does think they're adorable and loves playing with them but can't handle them once they start crying. She'd love to have a family with you but she's definitely not ready to be a mom yet so you're gonna have to wait a lot before that happens

She is already incredibly affectionate, and cuddles are a big part of that. She loves them and will ask to have a cuddle session whenever possible. She has no preference over being the big or little spoon, so she lets you choose

She's really not the best at either of those, even if she'd love to learn baking she burned the kitchen the last time she tried to make a cake so she's probably going to stick to strore brought sweets

Ann is pretty flirty.....when you're already in a relationship, she's actually surprisingly awkward when she figured out she had a crush on you. She tried to flirt but couldn't stop sweating and laughing awkwardly the whole time

She loves giving you gifts and so she spoils you pretty often. Whenever she goes shopping (which is a lot) she can't help but buy you a little something cause it reminded her of you

Ann loves hugs, and she will give you them non stop, whenever you see each other in the morning, whenever she wants to show off that you're together, and of course, whenever you have to go your separate ways after the date and many many other times

Very fast, Ann's love for you is very apparent and she wants to show it at any opportunity she gets. She genuinely thinks you're made for each other so why shouldn't she say it often?

She's actually not too jealous, she trusts you so much she can't ever imagine you cheating on her so even if a girl is a bit too close to you she won't worry unless she actually flirts. At that point she'll come up to you and start being all overly touchy in hopes she gets a hint

Ann is really great at any types of kisses, be it quick pecks or steamy making out you'll never be disappointed kissing ann. However be prepared to almost always have to wipe lipstick marks from your face and or lips

She actually did it on valentine's day. She left a box of chocolates and a note saying to meet on the rooftop in your locker and when you did she confessed and told you everything she loved about you. It was like all of her anxiety about the confession melted away when you accepted it

She always sends you a really cute good morning texts and a selfie and then you two have a full conversation over texts while going to school. You then meet at the station ans continue your conversation there

Basically the same as in the morning but more advanced. You FaceTime and talk while getting ready to fall asleep, you always have trouble hanging up cause you don't want to "stay apart" for too long

She's protective of you in basic only one occasion: in the metaverse, she always makes sure to heal you when you don't look too good and often takes hits from particular strong shadow in your place

As soon as she catches a glimpse of the plushie, she hugs you incredibly tightly and starts kissing you all over your face and making out with you right there

Ann has tons of different plushies in her room already but as soon as you gave her the Carmen one she literally threw all of the ones on her bed so she could make space for it because in her words "since you made it it's easily the best plushie ever"

She brings it on her photoshoots too sometimes, the photographers are very weirded out by her bringing a random plushie of.....something they can't really understand but she says it's for emotional support so they let her

Makoto niijima

At first she doesn't really know how to react, she likes the plushie of that she's sure it's just that she's really not used to receiving gifts and especially not stuff like this

In the end she just thanks you for it and awkwardly kisses you then puts it somewhere in her room where it's easy to see to remind herself of you whenever she needs it

When her sister saw it she asked about it and she told her it was just a normal plushie of a motorcycle.......that had a face on it for some reason and that you gave it to her

She basically always sleeps with it and with how much she sleeps that's a lot of time she spends hugging the plush, the only time she doesn't is when you're cuddling her which also happens a lot

Unlike her friends her plushie actually looks like a normal one since necronomicon is basically just a ufo so she can play with it and show it off without having to worry about people questioning what it is

She also sometimes brings the plushie when you two are having a tea date and even gives it her own teacup just to play........you ignore how she could drink without a mouth cause it's pretty adorable

Yukari is actually pretty confused at why you would give her a plushie like that, especially because isis...isn't really the cutest thing, but she's still grateful, of course, and very impressed that you made it

She doesn't really pay that much attention to the plush, just kinda keeps it in her room and looks at it sometimes, she is kinda embarrassed whenever someone who isn't S.E.E.S. comes in asks her what it is

She also asks you to make some other plushie of something else, like an animal or maybe even you two, she doesn't want to make it seem like she doesn't like the isis one but she would like something cuter

Mitsuru kirijo

Mitsuru is actually surprisingly really grateful and happy about receiving the plushie, most of the gifts she ever received were expensive things she didn't really care about so getting something that was made with nothing but love felt really nice

She proudly displays it in her room and whenever someone asks she happily says you handmade it, she also doesn't tolerate anyone calling it weird or anything like that

The rest of S.E.E.S is pretty surprised whenever she brings it around or cleans it, mostly because they can't picture her with a plushie, but when she explains you made it for her they understand

Despite her initial awkward reaction, fuuka loves the plushie so much, she brings it with her basically wherever she goes even at school and smiles every time she sees it, both because of how cute it is and because it reminds her of you

Aigis is definitely the most confused, she immediately asks you how and why you turned Athena into something so small and fluffy, but when you explained to her that the plushie wasn't actually her persona but something you made she understood and hugged it tightly... maybe a little too much

She still kinda don't understand how plushies really work or what to do with them. For example, she once tried to talk with the Athena plushie or ask you what circuits it was made of since she thought it was similar to her but she still loves it a lot because you gave it to her

She is so very protective of the plushie, which isn't surprising since she's incredibly protective of basically everything and everyone she loves but it's funny how much she treats it like her actual persona

The most infamous of these cases was the Finaly affair. Two Jewish children in France, Robert and Gerald Finaly, were placed in a Catholic nursery in 1944 in anticipation of their parents being deported to Auschwitz, where they were both murdered. Their aunt, Marguerite Fischel, survived the war and went to find the boys so she could take them to live with her. However, the nun who had custody of the boys, Antoinette Brun, adamantly refused to give them up, reportedly saying that “The Jews are not grateful”

What followed was a years long custody battle where despite being repeatedly ordered by courts all over Europe to return the boys, Brun took them to many different countries and hid them, with the support and help of other nuns and priests. It was suspected at the time, and later confirmed by documents released in 2020, that Pope Pius XII had supported the effort to keep the boys away from their surviving family and have them be raised Catholic.

Thankfully, after negotiations between a sympathetic cardinal in France and the chief Rabbi of Paris, the boys were finally recovered and reunited with their aunt.

I wish I could say that the phenomenon of the Catholic Church kidnapping children and keeping them away from their families for the purposes of forcefully raising them Catholic is unique to Jews, but it’s not. From the mid nineteenth century to the mid twentieth century, the Church ran hundreds of residential schools in the US and Canada where indigenous children were kidnapped from their homes and forced into these cruel and inhumane “schools”. The children were forbidden from speaking their own languages or practicing their own cultures and religions, their hair was cut, and they were subject to emotional, verbal, spiritual, physical, and sexual abuse. Many of the children died due to malnutrition or medical neglect, their bodies buried like dogs beside the schools. The Catholic Church was not the only Church to participate in this, but they’ve been the most reluctant to fully acknowledge and apologize for it. It was only in 2022 that Pope Francis apologized on behalf of the Catholic Church for their part, but some people found the apology inadequate.
