Feng Gamily Costumer has once again clocked in! Let’s get right into it
Staring off with this green dress. Perfect for Feng Ying to wear during her family trips to the mortal realm or when it’s her A-Die custody weekend. Relatively simple and easy to move in while still being pretty. And the green is perfect cus it will help her somewhat camouflage into the greenery a bit. Easier to sneak up on people with.
This outfit the main girl wears to her first palace visit (Also the bite scene). So the era this drama takes place in is the Ming Dynasty, which is the dynasty silhouette we associate with MQ. So a lot of these outfits will be Babygirl imitating Baba.
Now personally, this outfit is a bit more dressed down compared to actual proper Ming Dynasty court wear. Not by a lot but only a bit. So I can see Feng Ying wearing this when the Heavenly Realm is celebrating a holiday like Mid Autumn or a spring or Summer festival. I love the gold foil decorations on her sleeves and the dangling hair ornaments. The color is great too. It’s a sort of blue green that reminds me a natural water formations like lakes and rivers.
Brief detour to Mu Liran. I remember you said last time that she prefers to wear more masculine clothing and really like this outfit the prince’s guard wears. Not very different from the male guards. Slits to not hinder movement, relatively form fitting to prevent snagging, and the bird and flower pattern for a hint of softness. Just a hint.
She wears a really cool red and white outfit that I think Mu Liran would look great in.
I love this for Xie Ying! It’s so cute and looks so comfy while still being fancy. And the fur makes the little girl look bigger than she actually is. The red and coral color for her Mama and the blue shawl for her Baba is just too cute.
I can imagine her stomping and marching around the palace, bossing around her parents’ deputies in this, being such a little princess.
I took sooo many pics of this outfit because it just screams Feng Ying to me. The bright pink, the flower embroidery and pattern, little pearls, the flower halo hair ornaments, the huge long sleeves, etc. It’s so perfect for her!
Absolutely LOVE this one! Another court dress. I love the soft pale color, it makes her look like a little goddess. I think this would be the outfit she wears whenever she has to go and visit the Heavenly Emperor. Very fancy. You can see that the shawl is pinned to her sleeves so it doesn’t move or fall. And the matching hair ornaments are perfect for Feng Ying.
Another pretty court dress, this time by the girl cousin (yes, the one that started the dad poop eating argument). This definitely leans towards more MQ with the deeper blue. I really like the purple flowers paired with the deeper blues.

I love the first outfit! The little jacket is so cutie. I'm always a sucker for them whenever you show them. Also dying over the green being perfect for camouflage. I didnt even consider that was something she would need, but you're right! She's gotta be able to sneak up on people. Maybe this is one of the outfits that she designed and got Mu Qing to make for her. Specially designed for her to sneak up on people
I didn't realize that Mu Qing had a ming dynasty silhouette! Truly a trendsetter, before his time etc etc.
I'm discovering i really like these type of outfits on babygirl. Its always adorable when she's imitating Baba. The colour is really pretty too, especially with the gold foil decorations. Definitely agree that it gives lakes/rivers/natural formations. The association makes me agree that its perfect for a spring/summer festival. I can totally see her running around in a spring flower field in that outfit.
Omg I really love that outfit for Mu Liran! Its perfect for her! The colours are exactly what I would picture for her. I like the fancy belt too. It looks perfect for her to run around and spar in. Its also a little funny, because with that colour scheme she would look even more like Nan Feng.
The fancy little fur outfit is so cute for Feng Ying. I love the hairstyle that goes with it too, with the little cat ears and the little braids. Perfect for her to direct the palace in. With the fur i could also see it being a nice winter outfit for her! She can make a miniature version of the palace out of snow for her to boss around.
The pink outfit is so CUTE!!! Its definitely perfect for Feng Ying. With all the elements of it that scream Feng Ying, and with just how elaborate it is, my immediate thought is that it would be something she came up with and designed and then presented to Mu Qing to make. And she probably pestered him to finish it the whole time he was working on it
I love the soft pale court dress. I also love the concept of her wearing it to visit the Heavenly Emperor. Her parents probably dressed her up all fancy, and reminded her to be on her best behavior, before taking her to court. And I know for a fact that that court trip ended with her trying to bite or fight or argue with Jun Wu. And its very important that she looks pretty and proper while she does that.
I love the final dress too. The combination of darker blues and teals with that light purple is so pretty. I think it would look really good on her and its always cute when she mimics her baba. I just know that Mu Qing was so proud when she asked him for that outfit 🥺 he probably has his own matching one
