Reblogging this again bc people in the notes are asking a lot of "Am I included? Am I disabled if I have x?" and I just wanted to add the flag here to show people who the pride month is for.

This is the new flag, the old one was more vivid and in a z shape, but it's been made more neutral to be inclusive of people with seizures or sensory issues.

Each stripe represents a different aspect of disability:

Red: Physical disabilities

Yellow: Cognitive & intellectual disabilities

White: (And this is the key one I think) Invisible AND undiagnosed disabilities

Blue: Mental illnesses

Green: Sensory disabilities

If you're autistic or have ADHD? this is your pride month. If you have a mental illness, it's your pride month. If you're hard of hearing, this is your pride month. If you have an autoimmune disorder, this is your pride month. If you are not diagnosed with anything but you know something is up with you: THIS IS STILL YOUR PRIDE MONTH.

Noahfinnce’s new single is out yayyy!!

I’ve listened to Mr Overwhelm a couple of times now, and I really like it! The soft piano notes at the start and end of the song contrast so well with the intense guitar riffs throughout the rest of the song, it’s really cool. I also love the way that this song sort of evolves from Noah’s previous music, returning previous themes and adding some cool new stuff as well. Gonna be listening to this for the remaining week of pride month, and I can almost guarantee that this song will grow on me even more over time (and there’s a music video coming out this evening!)

people whos country is experiencing a heatwave please also take care of your pets!! consider getting your dog/cats hair cut down if its safe for them, if your pet goes outdoors frequently please remember their feet can burn on the pavement and their nose/ears can get sunburnt. you can put a few icecubes in their water bowl to melt and bigger dogs can snack on them (with supervision). smaller pets like rodents are NOT used to this heat - even desert animals as in captivity they cant create burrows the same as in the desert. buy a spare water bottle (i have 2 in the cage + a water bowl) to swap out from the fridge (not the freezer as the water can freeze around the ball that allows them to drink). never keep fans super near any animal but adjacent is ok. please look out for heat exhaustion in any animal (extreme lethargy, constant panting, irregular breathing, frothing at the mouth). reptiles might like to bathe in the sun when its their outside time but it can be too much depending on the temp. heat stroke can kill you and it can kill your pets, please treat them well
