Don’t Mind Me

I don't think there will be a clone x OC week 2027.

It's fun while it lasts and I recognise the importance of having a platform to highlight clone x oc pairings, but it feels so idk...inconsequential? I don't know how to put words to my feelings but it feels like it has no lasting impact. It doesn't feel good to do it anymore. I feel like nobody cares so why should I? Like all this effort is not worth it. Nobody cares to ask for the statistics of the event; only six people answered the feedback form I attached to the latest post on that blog. The reception was generally good but there were no constructive feedback. I should be grateful for the answers I got, but I just want a little more engagement, you know? Like, please help me make this event better. Please help me feel like what I do is worth it. But all is just quiet.

This feelings bleed to the art I make and upload here too. Again, I feel like nobody cares about my art, so why bother? Well, I do bother because I love the characters I draw, and I want to show my art to an audience. It's just disheartening when every time I post, I barely get any meaningful response. I probably come off as a whiny privileged kid as I know there are other artists out there struggling to get even a couple of likes and reblogs, whereas I do get a decent amount of them but...it's nothing constructive. It's nothing I can latch on and make any meaningful connection with. When it comes to the art I post here, metaphorically I feel like I'm in a gallery with 100 people but it's all quiet, nobody is talking and the only response I get is a few thumbs up.
