i hate when something violent happens to a right wing politician and every left leaning pundit and politician gets on their soap box about how "violence isn't the answer" as if the right wing ideology doesn't inherently encourage violence.

i just think it's interesting how all the concerned posting i'm seeing on other websites about political violence is concerned entirely with political violence against the wealthy and powerful and doesn't seem to consider deployment of the national guard to US cities or police repression of protests to be political violence

It really is fucking nuts to see world leaders send condolences over this and sports teams hold moments of silence like Kirk was some great leader and not a fucking nazi podcaster
