HANDS DOWN the best season of Re zero like they have just NOT missed this season, Subaru falling into despair, becoming more hopeless and pathetic than ever and overall just not caring is just something that never ceases to amaze me, seeing him at his lowest, continuesly dying over and over again as he tries to overcome his problems is what i live to see like THAT is just PEAK Re zero, like bruh I haven't seen stuff like this since seasons 1 and 2, ngl when this season 1st started I was really getting bored but as soon as he lost his memories i immediately became more intrigued, speaking of which getting rid of his memories and in a way literally and figuratively starting him from zero was absolutely genius since he no longer has his resolve and therefore doesn't really have a reason to help these people, all that character development and progress he made back in Season2 is just GONE, it's like seeing a whole different subaru one that is more mainipulative and is only really thinking about himself, from the way he uses shaula, to how thinks of emila, to even his judgment of people, hell the man was literally planning to KILL them and was even thinking of ways to do it, speaking of which bruh that Scene OMG was absolutely insane and the fact that they brought back rem's original VA specifically for that part was ugh chef's kiss like I did NOT expect that, sucks that they shortened the episode count this time but im sure it's because so that they can take time working on it, kinda like similar to frieren season 2 afterall ya can't rush greatness, overall good season so far totally can't wait for the next episode^^
