i would like to clarify that the boys ( apart from martin ) don’t purposefully try to remember her as a saint, it just happens

grief for them is so weird because even if y/n left, there’s no texts, no calls, no contact

i don’t know if martin could have survived accepting that he fucked up

he told y/n about it the day of THE concert, he had the chance to let her run or to just protect her, he lied to everyone about it after

it’s not just one mistake, he quite literally helped

Martin - i feel like everything he told the members was simply to make himself feel better 100%. the fact that he kept telling himself it was for the “better of the group” and the fact that he was getting very defensive makes me feel like they did in fact tell him more about what they were doing. when he kept saying i don’t know and i don’t know repeatedly makes me feel like he does in fact know. another thing i noticed was that he was saying that the reader would do bad things, trying to pin it on her instead of taking accountability that he could’ve saved her but chose not to, and straight up lying to the boys that he según “tried” to save her shows that even more.

Juhoon - i love that you made him the one to crash tf out suddenly, you said you where debating between keonho and juhoon and i personally feel like keonho wouldn’t have seen the signs as quickly as james and juhoon nor would’ve been able to keep to himself ( if your going baised on irl. ) juhoon on the other hand is just more reserved, he seems to watch more than speak, that’s why he almost immediately caught onto martin as soon as he saw his behavior after juhoon told him to leave the light on.

fyi the scene where martin is standing out their door when juhoon tells james about martin gave me chills ngl 😭 anyways juhoon beating tf out of martin shows that at that point he had enough of martin acting like the victim after he clearly could’ve saved the reader, especially after he fumbled with his words and said the wrong thing.

what i think that happened to the reader - do i think she’s dead ? uhh not likely but idk what you have up your sleeve. i feel like she most likely got blacklisted and/or is being held somewhere by hybe, she’s clearly not out in the public since she was labeled missing so the company must have her somewhere or she’s dead.

anyways those are just my thoughts 😁🫰

i won’t reveal anything but i’ll give you a little behind the scenes when i wrote that part

in the end, my full intention was for juhoon to jump martin

but beating him up and slamming his head against the floor wasn’t the only option

i thought of juhoon choking him at the end, of martin successfully getting away before tripping and bonking the back his head on the corner of the table, of many different possibilities

nonnie is referring to this post when i asked if martin borders on misogyny or if hes brainwashed

now i have a question, why are the other boys not like that ? brainwashed to think how martin does

ummm i don’t think i’m the right person to answer this, i’m not black

in all honesty i’ve used aave in my smaus and even when talking, not with ill intentions but because aave has influenced how a lot of people talk

it’s also inspired a lot, if not most, of our internet slang, something i grew up hearing

i believe i’ve mentioned this before but i grew up in a diverse city with a lot of poc

most of our poc population is black and latino people, naturally black culture and latino culture mixed yk, especially our speech

and for the longest time, i had zero idea what aave was, not because i wanted to be ignorant, but it’s the way i genuinely thought everyone talked

but now i understand why it can make black people uncomfortable when a non black person uses aave, so i’m trying my best to be mindful

i think you’re in high school so it’s a little different since im in college but

tbh i’m a workaholic, im always doing something, i find it really hard just to rest which i know is bad but i unfortunately have no plans of changing

please do not be like me though, i burn out constantly, i just have enough willpower to drag myself through everything, but please please please take care of yourself

i’ve normalized my brain to accept burnout, because to me it means i’m working hard, doesn’t mean that it’s okay, it’s just how i am

but, writing and painting are my two hobbies that i’ve had for years, painting is just harder because it strains my back, writing doesn’t

if i’m not studying, i’m writing, if i’m not writing, i’m studying, or sleeping tbh

obv theres extra time where i just do whatever tf i want but my life revolves around those things

i NEED to write, it’s my life, i love writing so much, it not just only became a want, it became a need

also i’d like to clarify that i’ve been writing on tumblr since 2021 and have taken several long breaks because i couldn’t balance anything

balance is hard and for most it takes a while to actually find something good that works

take fics bit by bit, don’t force yourself to write in one sitting, worst thing you can do, and try to space out your writing if you have time

just remember, school ALWAYS comes first

and don’t stress too much, you’re too young to be overworking yourself :3
