in which murderbot is a very normal terracotta soldier and ART the dragon spirit of a chinese junk who dwells in the ship's keel. they meet in the ming dynasty perhaps, when ppl are sailing places extra willy-nilly.

*Nüwa is the mother goddess in chinese mythology, known for creating humanity from yellow clay and repairing the sky.

thank you so much! i went with 'you know i am not kind' and it morphed into something like "that feeling when you want so badly to go back in time so that you could save them when no one else would"

so here is some pre-ASR Murderbot. the red fetters are all pointed towards the base of its skull (the govmod location), which is also the spot ART is trying to reach for

Now I'm thinking of dragonling Peri who was a delight of the Mihira village. A small pot-bellied creature toddling around. Brought smiles to everyone as it frolicked around.

was struck with the prophetic vision of what ART’s humanform drone would look like if it designed it based on its own preferences (instead of yk,, executing someone else’s design (that is the trust fall sex drone post in there))

I don’t think it would actually have a humanform drone because that would humanise it too much in the eyes of PSUMNT and we can’t have that. but it’s fun to imagine. i think the abdominal cavity is more or less empty, and the yellow 'chord' thing visible between the 'ribs' is the reference to the internal rail system ART's ship body has

(I don’t think I’ll be drawing it much bc wow this design is cluttered, but who knows)
