Something starts to settle in the ugly curl of Scott’s stomach. This guy—Alexei’s fucking brother—has the mouth of a blow-up doll, the body of a mail order Greek god. And Kip is perfect. It’s too easy to picture them together, but Shane is hovering right there, too close for the uneasy image to stick. He’s got that glowing-with-guilt face so permanently etched it’s practically an announcement in the newspaper. Scott always wondered and now he knows; plus, if memory serves, Shane’s monogamous about his meals. Loyal to the point of worrying reverence. Scott can’t imagine him being very noncommittal about biceps like these.
