Erik(Cobra) I can hear you

“Damn smart ass. You’ve always hated me.”

“You always knew that, yeah that was before I gotten to know you.” He wasn’t going to lie there some things that he still was trying to work out in his mind about him. Like how he could tolerate Fairy Tail at times.

Erik still held silent a bit as if taking Gajeel’s words in especially with the past words he just said. He never expect him to confide in something personal. Even as friends he thought it be about snakes, dealing with dragonfication or how much he hated Fairy Tail. Not this. “You already know that my group can be too loud that I need isolation and time away.” He growled lowly in his throat as he couldnt believe this kind of thing could even happen to someone like Gajeel. “That bastard is fucking dead. Even when you find someone you will learn to trust again, so don’t let it be the only reason your afriad of wanting to get laid.”

“Fuck….ya just rub it in don’t ya? Im not afriad of getting laid! …its just the idea of rejection and I feel for this person alot, but I don’t want to scare him away either.”

Now he was able to avert his eyes away with his back turned.

Scare him away? That was just ridiculous, but who was he to judge as he been in such a sitation. His inner flaw would apply to his toxic element nature so he often shunned away from those close that may have tempted to have an interest.

Sighing Erik went into Gajeel's sight range so that could have better eye contact than speaking away from.him.

"Fuck look... just tell him how you feel. If he doesnt return those emotions then hes not worth your time." It sounded sappy coming off his tongue, but knew that it was the only way his partner in crime would accept it.

“Good answer. Although I almost surprised that they wouldnt fear you after knowing whose side you’ve chosen. Surprisly supporting you tells me that not all of them are that bad.” He was pretty sure most of Fairy Tail was naive except for the superior ones.

“What a shame, but it’s ironic if any of the members thought they could neutralize your poison. Only ones that are given the gift know how to handle it.”

Hence the only one who could heal it naturally was Wendy like she had done a couple times in the past. But Erik in a way thought this was some kind of justice or karma where his mind triggered the fact that Fairy Tail purposely kept Cubellios away from him while he was in prison. Of course he didnt act too amused knowing she traded feelings about how they treated her than him. For now he didnt dwell in it. Even if she attempted to quiet her mind he already knew she felt a little akward running into his other friends. Would they accept her? Maybe be a little hostility until he tells them she is his Cubellios and not a random fairy tail member that he started seeing. The idea that she could supply him poison crossed his mind too, but he wouldn’t force her either.

“You can ask me anything. The only way your getting stronger and control your poison is if I teach you away from your guild. I can’t keep sneaking back and forth due to hostile members sounding the alarm if they notice me. Not alot of them like me very much. I agree. So pack up when your ready. And if my group doesnt like it then tough.”

“None of them thought they could do that, they just wanted to help me with using it.”

Kinana knew none of the members thought that they were capable of neutralizing her poison. The only one who could really handle it was Mirajane but the two only trained together once or twice. For a log while she was unaware of who she was but then again she had not always been Cubellios either. She had been cursed into that forme and when Makarov found he had undone it. Of course, she lost her memories and only knew her first name after that.

“The ones who are hostile don’t even know who you are or what you’re capable of. They just don’t recognize you. They all did the same when Jellal started coming by to see Erza.”

Not that Jellal had come by a lot. He had done so more when Erza was the acting Master of the guild more than anything else. Kinana liked the idea of travelling with Erik and learning how to hone her magic. Given that as his companion in the past she had a very strong toxin it made sense that her magic would be toxic in nature once it awoke. She would be happy to supply Erik with poison as he needed it while they traveled together. A smile would work its way across her visage as she moved her hands to her sides so they were no longer wrinkling her skirt.

“I don’t think they’ll dislike me for very long once they find out what I used to be. Maybe. It won’t take me long to pack I don’t own very much.”

True to her word once she left his side she would return within a few minutes with a small bag. She had enough clothes for a couple weeks but that was all. She was more than capable of cleaning them in rivers and the like though so she was not particularly worried.

The thing he could never get past is whoever knew about her as his snake companion could have appealed to his better nature. Like supposedly swaying him on their side or even mention it was the same individual that stayed with him during Nirvana and Brain's betrayal with leaving him for dead. The same Cubellios who helped him through the Tower of Heaven. Instead he believed that she was stolen from him by Fairy Tail, which was true. In desperate matter he would have made sure that didnt happen. Without her for 7 years he grew very cold and a shallow of his own self and more bitter so the slow seething hatred he felt was warranted on Fairy Tail. Not all of them were against him, but still trended carefully. So it made him relived that Kinana was going with him so that she can train as a mage and become stronger.

Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Ekans!

Did you know that the older an Ekans gets, the longer it grows? A very common sight in grasslands, this Pokémon can easily hide in the grass, moving silently and stealthily. It sneaks through the grass without making a sound and strikes unsuspecting prey from behind!

“You never showed any interest, yet with me hanging around them its amusing to hear this coming from you.”

Erik cocked his head slightly to hear Sorano confess that she had no problem being around his slithering serpents. Perhaps with Cubellios being in his presence constantly at the time he never paid attention. Or maybe since he was drawn and visa versa to the reptiles his affection might have rubbed off on her. Even so none of the others expressed or shown it except acceptance. Not that it mattered since they all their own thing like occupy their sanity.

While he knew that the snakes were very comfortable in his presence there wasnt any danger of them biting any of comrades unless they felt threatened. Not that he would ever anticipate that ever happening either since they strayed away when he wasnt near camp. If that rare chance happened he already was prepared to get the poison out if it was venomous. As having poison himself would isolate the toxin or even sink his fangs into her skin to suck out the poison. For untrained people that method would never fly, but with Erik being an expert and having immunity to toxins it do just fine. The more discreet way would be anti venom, but that process may take longer to flush the neurotoxins out of the system.

“Yes, I’m aware. Although even if you can silent your thoughts it doesnt mean you had the advantage for long. I don’t pry into thoughts unless its towards my interest which your doing.”

“I don’t see how it’s amusing, Erik. Besides, it’s not like you know every little thing about me either.”

Sorano’s lips curled into a playful smirk as she waited for his next retort. She had been training herself to keep her mind quiet for as long as possible since they were freed. She did not understand how it was amusing to him though but then again she did not know what all amused him. Yes, they had been friends for years but while under Brain’s reign of terror they were not exactly able to get to know one another or do anything.

“Well, I certainly have nothing to hide from you. I merely trained to silence my thoughts so that if you need to rest my mind isn’t being loud.”

Sorano knew that he did not sleep nearly as often as he should but it was partially due to everyone having their thoughts going all hours of the night and also because he had the best hearing of all of them. He was often the lookout but at least he was learning that everyone as more than happy to do their share as well. She had absolutely no reason to ever feel threatened around Erik or his various slithering snakes. She had yet to get bitten and she had a feeling it was because she was not trying to chase them away or touch them.

Sorano playful act was a nice way to keep him from feeling serious and on his toes. It was tedious to have extraordinary hearing, but he had focused on blocking all the voices out. At night it was easier than the day time, but still he trusted her more than Sawyer from a long shot as the other would constantly argue with him as if it was a challenge. Sorano was at least had a hint of a sassy way of doing it without getting under his skin. As for the skins that lay away with caution with just about anyone, except him and even brave enough to stay in his presence even with his guildmates were close by.

"Whata the matter snake got your tongue?" He smirks in a teasing manner.
