As it says in the descriptor, my name is Professor Dexter, and I will be posting random Pokémon facts here every day. I hope to inspire a new type of fascination for these wonderful creatures within you as you join me on this journey!

RANDOM FACTS

As stated, I will be relaying a random Pokémon fact every day. To determine which Pokémon I will talk about, I will randomly choose one Pokémon based on their National PokéDex number.

ASKS

You’re free to ask about a Pokémon, if you’re curious! However, any answers I respond with will be posted to my queue, so if you don’t see a response right away, don’t worry!

Unfortunately, due to my limited time, I must ask you only request one Pokémon per ask. I will also decline requests if there are already two posts about the Pokémon, at least until each Pokémon has two posts of their own.

Unfortunately, I won’t be posting for a little while. I’ve been busy with health issues and work life, and it’s really taking a toll on my already unstable mental health.

Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Charizard!

Did you know that the bond with its Trainer is the source of Mega Charizard Y’s power? This Pokémon boasts amazing speed and maneuverability, far greater than that of a jet fighter. Charizard's wings can carry it to altitudes of about 4,600 feet!

Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Frigibax!

Did you know that Frigibax absorbs heat through its dorsal fin and converts the heat into ice energy? This Pokémon lives in forests and craggy areas, and by using the power of its dorsal fun, it can cool the inside of its nest like a refrigerator. The higher the temperature, the more energy Frigibax stores!

Did you know that Alolan Dugtrio’s shining golden hair provides it with protection? These beautiful, metallic whiskers create a sort of protective helmet on their heads, and they also function as highly precise sensors. The whiskers are advanced sensors that can detect vibrations from sounds several miles away!

Did you know that only a Bisharp that stands above all others in its vast army can evolve into Kingambit? Though it commands a massive army in battle, it’s not skilled at devising complex strategies. Kingambit’s strategies mostly involve using brute strength to keep pushing!

Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Eevee!

Did you know that Gigantamax energy upped the fluffiness of the fur around Eevee’s neck? Because this Pokémon has gotten even friendlier and more innocent, Eevee will try to play with anyone around, only to end up crushing them with its immense body. Their fur will envelop a foe, capturing its body and captivating its mind!

Did you know that Farigiraf’s psychic power is 10 times stronger than that of Girafarig? This Pokémon’s two brains are connected through thick nerves, allowing it to increase its psychic energy and unleash psychic waves through its antennae. Although Farigiraf is always observing its surroundings and its brains can instantly detect danger, its body sometimes cannot react as quickly!

Did you know that the whiskers on Alolan Diglett’s head are made of metal? When in communication with its comerades, these whiskers wobble to and fro. The metal-rich geology of Alolan Diglett’s habitat caused it to develop the steel whiskers on its head!

Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Espathra!

Did you know that Espathra immobilizes its opponents by bathing them in psychic power from its large eye? Despite this Pokémon’s appearance, it has quite the vicious temperament. Espathra emits psychic power from the gaps between its multicolored frills and sprints at speeds greater than 120 mph!

Pokémon that was requested: Tinkaton!

Did you know that Tinkaton has been observed using its hammer like a bed to sleep on? This Pokémon’s hammer appears to have been made using the old hammer had as a Tinkatuff for the base, using several scraps of metal colored in varying shades of gray and purple welded onto it. Although this hammer is over 220 pounds, Tinkaton can swing it with ease by using is whole body!

Pokémon that was requested: Joltik!

Did you know that Joltik is capable of producing silk from these mandibles? This enables Joltik to hang from trees, and while this species is not especially aggressive, it will defend itself if bothered. If Joltik is unable to find a source of energy, it will be unable to move and in serious danger!

Did you know that there are over a hundred kinds of poison inside Muk’s body? The garbage this Pokémon eats causes continuous chemical changes in its body, which produce its exceedingly vivid coloration. Chemical reactions between the different poisons are the source of Muk’s vitality!

Pokémon that was requested: Relicanth!

Did you know that Relicanth feeds on microscopic organisms with its toothless mouth? This ancient Pokémon's body is filled with fat, so it can withstand the water pressure of the deep sea. Relicanth is also covered in tough scales that are like craggy rocks!

Did you know that Tinkatink pounds iron scraps together to make a hammer? This Pokémon swings its handmade hammer around to protect itself, but the hammer is often stolen by Pokémon that eat metal. Tinkatink will remake its hammer again and again until it’s satisfied with the result!

Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Pidgeot!

Did you know that Mega Evolution greatly increases Pidgeot’s muscular strength? With this newfound strength, this Pokémon can now fly continuously for two weeks without resting. The new crest Pidgeot develops during Mega Evolution is sensitive to air currents, acting like a large antenna and stabilizing its flight!

Did you know that Tatsugiri is an extremely cunning Pokémon? It lives inside the mouth of Dondozo to protect itself from the enemies outside, as it is a very small dragon Pokémon. Tatsugiri feigns weakness to lure in prey, then orders its partner to attack!
